Search Log Files

You can search log files to find specific information by date range, level, or message content. Near the top of the Data Share pane, select Open EHR Data Share Log File.The Log Viewer opens. Search Criteria in Log Viewer Choose one or more search criteria: Date Time From or Date Time To To adjust the date or time, select a date or time segment (month, day, year, and so on), and then select the up or down keys. Manually enter the date or time. To display a calendar and select the date, select the down arrow . Level: Select one of the following options: Administrative: Displays changes and modifications made by system administrator accounts. Critical: Displays critical errors that typically indicate that an application or system has failed or stopped responding. Debug: Displays informational events that are used to debug an application. Error: Displays all error events, including critical and fatal. Fatal: Displays events that presumably cause the application to stop. Info: Displays info

Export Log Files

You can export a log file or the results of a log file search to a comma-separated values (CSV) file, text file, or Microsoft Excel® file (if installed). If you want to export only selected records from the log file, then perform a search. Log Search Results In either the pane or Search Results pane, do the following: To save the data to a CSV file, select Export to CSV File. To save the data as a text file, select Export to Text File. To save the data to a Microsoft Excel® file, select Export to Excel File. This button appears only if Excel®is installed on your workstation. The Save DSM Log to <file type> File window opens. When prompted, browse to the location where you want to store the file. If needed, enter a file name.By default, the file name includes the date and time (YYYYMMDDHHMMSSSSS) and a .csv, .txt, or .xls file extension. Data Share Module Log Files

The the Data Share module maintains a log of related events and archives the log file whenever the file size reaches 2 MB. As all files are encrypted, you must view them using the Log Viewer in the Data Share module . The current log file is named EhrNextGen.log. The log file path is \NextGen\LogFiles on the drive where the Data Share module is opened, for example, C:\NextGen\LogFiles. If the folder does not exist, it is automatically created. Open the CDA Viewer During a Data Share Module Import

In the Data Share module, you can open the CDA Viewer to view a document after an import. For more information, go to NextGen Healthcare Success Community, and download the Data Share Module User Guide forNextGen®Enterprise EHR. Open NextGen® Enterprise EHR, and load a patient. On the quick buttons panel, select Data Share icon. In the Data Share pane, select the Search tab. Expand the Endpoints list, and select all the endpoints that you want to search. Select Initiate Search. In the Completed pane, select an entry in the Search Date column. Search Date on the Search Tab A document list pane opens on the right. Document List Pane To view any single document, select the value in the Title column. The document opens in the CDA Viewer. Open the CDA Viewer from the Data Share Module Search History

In the NextGen® Enterprise EHR Data Share module, you can open the CDA Viewer to view any document in the search history. For more information, go to NextGen Healthcare Success Community, and download the Data Share Module User Guide forNextGen®Enterprise EHR. In the Data Share pane, select the Home tab. In the Search History pane, in the Search Date column, select one of the date/time links. Search History The Data Share module displays a list of documents that were imported at the specified date and time. Select the title of one of the imported documents. Open the Data Share Module

Open NextGen® Enterprise EHR, and open a patient. The Quick Buttons panel, the Encounter History and Categories panel opens. left toolbar and Encounter History panel To conserve screen space, select the collapse icon. The Encounter History and Categories panel closes. On the Quick Buttons panel, select the Data Share icon. Data Share The Data Share tab opens in the main pane. Data Share Module Note: If you disabled the Data Share > Use New Data Share Module Universal Preference in System Administrator, then the old version of the Data Share module opens. The old version provides access only to NextGen® Share Carequality Service. For information on using the old version of the Data Share module, go to the NextGen Healthcare Success Community, and download the User Guide for NextGen Share Carequality Service for 6.2021.1.
