You can search log files to find specific information by date range, level, or message content.
- Near the top of the Data Share pane, select Open EHR Data Share Log File
.
- Choose one or more search criteria:
- Date Time From or Date Time To
- To adjust the date or time, select a date or time segment (month, day, year, and so on), and then select the up or down keys.
- Manually enter the date or time.
- To display a calendar and select the date, select the down arrow
.
- Level: Select one of the following options:
- Administrative: Displays changes and modifications made by system administrator accounts.
- Critical: Displays critical errors that typically indicate that an application or system has failed or stopped responding.
- Debug: Displays informational events that are used to debug an application.
- Error: Displays all error events, including critical and fatal.
- Fatal: Displays events that presumably cause the application to stop.
- Info: Displays informational messages that show the progress of the application.
- Protocol: Displays connection information including sent and received messages.
- SQL: Displays SQL queries such as requests made to the database.
- Trace: Displays highly detailed information about a program's execution and is typically used to debug errors.
- Warning: Indicates a potentially harmful situation.
- Message: Enter a full or partial word.
Note: You can add or remove search criteria fields as needed.
- Select Search.
The search results are displayed in the bottom pane.
- To sort the data in ascending or descending order, select a column header.
- On the Search Results tool bar, do any of the following:
- To minimize the search results, select the collapse
icon.
- If minimized, to display the search results, select the expand
icon.
- To copy the selected section or entire grid, right-click in the results.
- Export the results to a file.
- To close the Search Results pane, select the close
icon.
