Configuring the Environment for the Data Share Module

You can use System Administrator to configure global settings for the Data Share module that control

  • Whether to use the enhanced or original version of the Data Share module.
  • Which HIE Gateway instance to use.
  • Which users are allowed to perform various actions.
  • Select the Data Share Module Version You can select whether to use the original or enhanced version of the Data Share module. The original version is specific toNextGen® Share Carequality Service, whereas the enhanced version supports a variety of endpoints in addition to Carequality.
  • Choose the HIE Gateway Instance You can use System Administrator to specify which HIE Gateway instance is used by the Data Share module and the Medical Summary Utility.
  • Configure User Access Rights You can use System Administrator to specify which user groups are allowed to run the Data Share module and which actions they can perform. These rights also apply to the Medical Summary Utility.
