Immunizations

You can view the a record of immunizations orders for a patient using the Immunizations panel. The Immunizations panel is where you can view a record of immunizations orders for a patient, including status, date ordered, sequence number, and date completed. The immunizations data grid is view-only. All Immunizations must be ordered and managed from the Immunizations module. Orders for Immunizations do not appear in the Recent Orders panel. All Order Management

You can update the status of order for a patient using the All Order Management template. You can use the All Order Management template to manually update the status of an order, document results, and submit the order to superbill. Open NextGen® Enterprise EHR. Select the Care Guidelines link on any of the main template. The Care Guidelines Paged View template opens. In the Care Guidelines panel, select the Grid View link. The Care Guidelines grid view template opens. Select an order in the Recent Orders panel. Select Edit in the Recent Orders panel grid. The All Order Management template opens. All Order Management Select the appropriate check box corresponding to the updates you wish to document, and document updated information. Select the arrow buttons to the right or left to go to another order and manage that order. All Order Management Select Save. Note: To clear the template fields, select Clear For Add. Place Orders from the My Plan Template

You can place orders for the patient using the My Plan template. Open NextGen® Enterprise EHR. Select the Care Guidelines link on any of the main template. The Care Guidelines Paged View template opens. In the Care Guidelines panel, select the Grid View link. The Care Guidelines grid view template opens. Expand the Recent Orders panel and select Add. The My Plan template opens. My Plan The My Plan template displays order items in the set appropriate for the selected assessment’s diagnosis category. To use a different template in the orders set, select the tab corresponding to the template to use (for example, Labs or Diagnostics). To add or change a diagnosis in the Today's Assessments grid, select Add or Edit. To change the current working assessment, select the diagnosis addressed for this encounter in the Today's Assessments grid. The selected diagnosis appears in the Selected Dx field. It becomes the new working assessment that carries forward to the other templates that share the

Manage Orders

The Order Management template enables you to document the order result, add any additional information, and change the status of the orders. Click the Order Management sub-navigational link to open the Order Management template. A list of all the orders documented for the patient appears in the grid. Select an order to be updated. The details of the selected order appear in the respective fields in the Manage Selected Orders section. Click Edit to open the All Order Management template. All Order Management Enter the appropriate order details in the applicable section(s). After making any necessary changes in the Result/report section, click Update. All Order Management Click Save and then click Close to return to the Order Management template. Highlight the order again. The updated details display in the Manage selected order section. Check Orders for Orderable Guideline Items

You can check the orders for orderable guideline item of a patient. You can check the orders you have placed in the Recent Orders panel. Open NextGen® Enterprise EHR. Select the Care Guidelines link on any of the main template. The Care Guidelines Paged View template opens. Expand the Recent Orders panel. Select the View All Orders link or the category link specific to the orders you want to see. Select the Pending button. Managing Orders from a Medical Records Template

The Orders Summary order control field on a Medical Records template displays a list of all orders related to the current patient from the Orders module. The orders listed and the data displayed on each order line are based on the selected predefined system or private user or practice-level filter. The first column displays an icon that identifies the order type (lab, radiology, or immunizations). Icons that identify recurring and future orders display in the fourth column. You can select the icon to view the order schedule. Practice and user-defined filters may display other information. The top toolbar displays different commands based on the selected order filter. Note: You must have the applicable access rights to add, update, or delete an order.
