Task/To Do

You can update the task for a patient using To Do template.

  1. Open NextGen® Enterprise EHR.
  2. Select the Care Guidelines link on any of the main template.
    The Care Guidelines Paged View template opens.
  3. In the Care Guidelines panel, select the Grid View link.
    The Care Guidelines grid view template opens.
  4. In the Recent Orders panel, select the Task link.
    The To Do template opens.
  5. The Date Due field displays the current system date. To change, select the Date Due field, and select date from the Calendar.
  6. The Priority field displays High by default. To change, select the Priority from the list.
  7. Select Subject from the list or enter text.
  8. Select Message and enter the text.
  9. Select Save & Close.
    To Do

    The Attach template opens.
  10. Select No attachment or the item to attach, and select OK.

  11. Do the following:
    1. To select the user to receive the task, select the recipient in the left side Available Users/workgroups list, and select the Add User(s) button.
    2. To remove a user selected, select the user in the right side Task Recipients list, and select the Remove button.
    3. After you select task recipient, select OK.
