Assign NextGen® Enterprise EHR Task for a PAQ Item

You can assign an NextGen® Enterprise EHR Task for a PAQ Item.
  1. Open the Workflow module.
  2. Select the Provider Approval Queue tab.
  3. In the Pending tab, select an item from the list.
    A preview of the item is displayed in the viewing pane.
  4. Select + To Do in the toolbar.
    The New EHR Task window opens.

  5. To change the Due Date from today, select the calendar icon, and then select a different date.
  6. From the Priority list, select High, Normal (default) , or Low.
  7. To add recipients to the task, select Add available next to Assign To.
    The Select Task Recipients window opens.

    If you do not select a recipient for the task you are creating, the task assigned to you.

  8. To change the Subject from the name of the item type, enter the text in the subject field.
    You can enter up to 30 characters.
  9. To associate a patient with the task, select Add next to Re: Patient to display the Patient Lookup window.
  10. Select the patient in the Re: Patient.
  11. Enter the Description up to 1,000 characters.
  12. To attach a template, document, image, Patient Education document, or report to the task, select the item from the Attachment list.
    A selection window opens for the selected item.
  13. Select the specific template, document, image, or report to attach.
  14. From the Categories list, select the options for each applicable category.

  15. Select Send Task.
