Send NextGen® Enterprise EHR Task

You can send NextGen® Enterprise EHR task to the specific recipients.

You can create NextGen® Enterprise EHR task and send it to the specific recipients.

  1. In NextGen Care® Population Management Hub, do one of the following:
    • From the Cohorts tab, run a report.
    • From the My Lists tab, run a list.
    • From the Appointment Book tab, filter the patients.
    The patient list appears in the patient grid.
  2. In the patient grid, select the check box next to the patient's name.
  3. From Task, select the EHR Task.

    The New EHR Task window opens.

  4. Select the required Due Date, and then select required priority from the Priority list.
  5. Enter Subject and Description.
  6. To add recipients to the task, select Add available next to Assign To.

    The Select Task Recipients window opens.

    If you do not select a recipient for the task you are creating, the task is assigned to you.

  7. Select a user and/or a Workgroup to which you want to assign the task, select Add, and then select OK.

    The New EHR Task window opens.

  8. On the New EHR Task window, to select a patient, select Add available next to Re: Patient.
    The Patient Lookup window opens.
  9. On the Patient Lookup window, select the patient and then select Open.
    The selected patient name appears in Re: Patient on the New EHR Task window.
  10. If required, select an attachment from the Attach list and in Category, set up the NextGen® Enterprise EHR task category.
  11. Select Send Task.
    The NextGen® Enterprise EHR task is sent to the recipients.
