Send NextGen® Enterprise PM Task
You can send NextGen® Enterprise PM task to the specific recipients.
You can create NextGen® Enterprise PM task and send it to specific recipients.
Note: In System Administrator, if Access Rights for Chart/Recalls/Tasking is set to No, then you cannot access Task on the NextGen Care® Population Management Hub toolbar. For more information about setting access permissions to Task in NextGen Care® Population Management Hub, go to NextGen Healthcare Success Community and download the latest System Administrator Guide forNextGen®Enterprise.
- In NextGen Care® Population Management Hub, do one of the following:
- From the Cohorts tab, run a report.
- From the My Lists tab, run a list.
- From the Appointment Book tab, filter the patients.
The patient list appears in the patient grid. - In the patient grid, select the check box next to the patient's name.
- From Task, select EPM Task.
The New PM Task window opens.
- Select a source from the Source Type list, and then task from the Task Type list.
- Selecting Chart as the Source Type also requires the selection of a Task Type (Appointment Cancellations) and a Patient. Task types are set up in File Maintenance and are dependent on the source type that is selected.
- Selecting Encounter as the Source Type also requires that you specify a Task Type, a Patient, and an Encounter.
- Selecting User as the Source Type requires the selection of at least one user as a recipient.
- Select the required Due Date, and then select priority from the Priority list.
- Enter Subject and Description.
Note: There is a 30-character limit for Subject and a 1,000-character limit for Description.
- To add recipients to the task, select Add available next to Assign To.
The Select Task Recipients window opens.
If you do not select a recipient for the task you are creating, the task is assigned to you.
Note: The Task Recipients list can be practice-specific. You must contact your System Administrator to determine the system settings. - Select a user and/or a Workgroup to which you want to assign the task, select Add, and then select Ok.
The New PM Task window opens.
- On the New PM Task window, to select a patient, select Add available next to Re: Patient.
The Patient Lookup window opens.
- On the Patient Lookup window, select the patient and then select Open.
The selected patient appears in Re: Patient. on the New PM Task window.
- Select Send Task.
The NextGen® Enterprise PM task is sent to the recipients.
