You can use the NextGen® Adaptive Content Engine to document visit types for both Physical Therapy and Occupational Therapy. Objective Panel

The Objective panel has sections for documenting Exams, Comments, Treatment and Notes. You can also view and enter vital signs for the visit and indicate if the visit qualifies for a re-evaluation charge. Document Wound Progression/Healing

The Wounds/Incisions panel on the Objective template is used to document the progression of healing and treatment of patient wounds. The wounds/incisions information can be added, updated and/or removed on the Proc PT Woundcare template. On the Objective template, navigate to the Wounds/Incisions panel. Click Add to open the Proc PT Woundcare. Proc Pt Woundcare Enter the required details. Click PE Skin to display the Skin/Hair PE template to enter additional information. Click Save to Document to add the wound management information to the generated document. Click Submit to PT Billing Summary to submit the details to the PT billing summary. Click the template toolbar buttons to do the following: Click Clear for Add to enter new information. Click Delete to delete the record. Click Save to save the information. Document Edema Details

The Edema panel displays the edema information for the patient. The edema information can be added, edited, and removed on the PT Edema Details template. On the Objective template, navigate to the Edema panel. Click Add to launch the PT Edema Details template. PT Edema Details Enter the required details. Click Save. Document the Reason for Visit

The Reason for Visit panel is where the reason for visit, as described by the patient, is documented, along with an initial History of Present Illness (HPI). The provider should review reasons for visit, update if necessary, and complete HPI information. Reason for Visit If the Introduction field contains text, review the content and make any necessary changes. The introduction appears as the first sentence of the visit note, and it can be edited for the individual patient. A typical introduction might contain the patient's age, gender, and the reason for visit. If the introduction field is blank, compose an introduction for the patient. If checked, click to clear the Do not Launch HPI check box. In the Reason for Visit data grid, click one of the reasons for visit entered previously to open the HPI template to add additional details.
