The Treatment panel enables you to document treatments performed during an encounter. Information documented here is also used for billing purposes. The Treatment grid displays details about the treatment plans. The fields in the Performed Today section below the grid function as a worksheet for documentation of treatment activities performed. Note: Only those treatments detailed in a row with the Performed check box selected are billed. Office Diagnostics

The Office Diagnostics button below the Physical Exam grid opens the Office Services template to view or enter diagnostic tests and test results. Physical Exam Panel

The Physical Exam panel displays a list of exam categories in the left pane. These items are customizable by specialty or by provider. The One Page Exam link opens the Derm General - PE template where you can document the patient's physical exam. You can also access the system-specific physical exam templates by accessing the links in the left pane. If the required system is not available in the left pane, you click the Additional link and select a system from the picklist. Click the Office Diagnostic button below the Physical Exam grid to launch the Office Services template to place orders for the tests. When you click the Physical Exam History button, the Historical Information window opens. You can copy the previous physical exam records to the current encounter by using the Copy Physical Exam & Close button. Components of the Physical Exam Panel

The Physical Exam panel includes the following buttons and links: Button/Link Description One page Exam Opens the gender-specific One Page- Physical Exam template to document a complete exam on one template. Select Other Physical Exams Opens a list of single-system exams to document a single system in detail. Image Opens the GYN image list and displays an image of the selected option. The provider can edit the image by adding text and color. Note: On the Physical Exam panel, the Image button appears only for female patients. Parent topic: Document Physical Exams
