Physical Exam Panel
The Physical Exam panel includes a list of systems in the left pane of the Physical Exam grid. When you click a system, a system specific template launches to document physical exam findings. Quick Tasks
You can set up the Quick Task recipients to automatically send the orders to as they are being placed in run-time. You can configure Quick Task recipients from the Practice Configuration template. If the task recipient is not configured, the Quick Task Setup template opens for the first time when you select Quick Task in the run-time template. After you initially set up a quick task, you can open the Quick Task Setup template at any time to set up new tasking actions. Set Up Quick Tasks You can set up Quick Tasks for the first time. Update Quick Tasks after Initial Setup You can modify a task after Quick Tasks are set up on the Quick Task Setup template. Send a Quick Task You can send a quick task. Access the Office Diagnostics
The Office Diagnostics Setup and Management practice template is used to configure and manage provider-approved service items (office order items) for office like medications, procedures, supplies, tests, and diagnostics. You can organize the service items into different sets of office-based orders to be used in the Office Services template in run time. From the File menu, click System/Practice Template. In Select Template, click the Practice tab. In the Show section, select All to view a list of practice templates. Select Office Diagnostics Setup and Management from the list and click OK. The Office Diagnostics Setup and Management template opens. Physical Exam Panel
The Physical Exam panel displays a list of exam categories in the left pane. These items are customizable by specialty or by provider. The One Page Exam link opens the Derm General - PE template where you can document the patient's physical exam. You can also access the system-specific physical exam templates by accessing the links in the left pane. If the required system is not available in the left pane, you click the Additional link and select a system from the picklist. Click the Office Diagnostic button below the Physical Exam grid to launch the Office Services template to place orders for the tests. When you click the Physical Exam History button, the Historical Information window opens. You can copy the previous physical exam records to the current encounter by using the Copy Physical Exam & Close button. Order Ophthalmic Diagnostic Tests from Orders Panel
Open the Intake - OPH template and then expand the Orders panel. Click Add Diagnostic Test.A grid with different diagnostic tests appears. add diagnostic test Select an appropriate test from the grid. Select a side from the picklist Click the Diagnosis field to select appropriate diagnosis from the DX history window or select the diagnosis using the Diagnosis Lookup link. In Schedule tests, select Today or select Other and select a timeframe. Select the appropriate transits and location. Select Patient may leave after test, if applicable. Enter additional comments in the Order Comment field. In the Ordered field, by default, the current provider is selected. However, you can change the user if necessary by clicking the Ordered field and selecting the desired user. To task a technician about the tests being ordered, click the Task button.
