Physical Exam Panel

The Physical Exam panel appears on the Billable Visit template, the Fracture Care templates, the Non-Billable Visit template, and the Non-Billable Fracture Care templates. The left navigation bar has links to all physical exams, with the ones most pertinent to the current workflow at the top. Assessment and Plan Panel - Single Fracture

The Assessment and Plan panel enables the provider to submit a single fracture care code, document the plan, verbal counseling and next visit information. It also has quick links to cast or splint, DME, and office procedures. Fracture Care Workflow

Use the Fracture Care Visit templates for fracture care where an E&M code is not being calculated/billed out. There are separate templates for Single Fracture (FC Single FX) for one fracture care code, Multi FX (FC Multiple FX) for up to three fracture care codes, and Poly Trauma (FC Poly Trauma) for unlimited fracture care codes. These templates all have three panels; History, Physical Exam and Assessment and Plan. The fracture care templates are accessed by clicking the New Fracture tab and selecting the desired template. Exams

To open an exam, click on its name in the left side navigation pane. Each exam (body area) has its own template. Exams that are most pertinent to the current workflow are shown at the top of the list. You can scroll down to see additional links. Data entered on exam templates is shown in the large grid below the Vitals information on the Physical Exam panel. Each exam template has side navigation to open related templates. For example, shown directly below is the template page that opens when you click the Fracture link. Note that links to other fracture templates are at the top of the left navigation bar. Exam template All exam templates have the QuickPick option to fill in information, as well as the Get Data functionality to pull data forward from previous encounters with the patient. View Default Settings

You can view all default settings for side navigation pane of the Physical Exam panel of the Billable Visit and Fracture Care templates. On the Specialty Nav Config system template, expand the Side Navigation panel. In the Category field, select Exam or Fracture. The default exams corresponding to the selection appear in the side navigation and the grid. To see other default menu groups, click in the Menu Group field. The Menu Group picklist opens. Menu Group field in the Side Navigation panel Select the desired menu group. The picklist closes and the default exam templates for the selected category and menu group appear in the grid. Enter the Physical Exam for Cast and Wound Care

Use the Physical Exam section on the Cast/Wound Care template to document issues with the cast area as well as what was done for the new cast, splint, or brace. On the Home template, click the Cast/Wound Care link. The Cast/Wound Care template opens. Physical Exam panel on the Cast/Wound Care template To enter exam information, select the appropriate check boxes, as well as which provider the patient was seen by. Document what was done to the cast, splint, or brace by selecting the appropriate fields. Type any additional information in the notes section.
