Open the Assessments Tab

There are several options for accessing the Add or Update Assessments template: On the SOAP template, in the Assessment / Plan panel, select Add/Update. On the Intake or SOAP templates: Select the My Plan link to open the template set. My Plan Select the Assessments tab. Using the Assessments Tab

The Assessments tab in the My Plan template set houses the Add or Update Assessment template. The grids on the Assessments tab can be filtered. For example, in the Billing Diagnosis History section, selecting the Show Chronic only check box displays only those diagnoses that are not acute. Selecting the option to Add Assessments on 1 click speeds up the documentation process by including the diagnosis description and code for Today's Assessment in the grid and Problems module without having to click Add/Update. The Medications or Immunizations links can be used at any time during the encounter to access the associated module. Add or Update Assessment Template

The Assessments link in the My Plan template enables you to open the Add or Update Assessment template. The Add or Update Assessment template enables you to add and update assessments. Add or Update Assessment Grids in Add or Update Assessment Template Open the Assessments Tab Patient's Treatment Plan The treatment plan for the patient can be documented on the My Plan or My Custom Plan template. Patient's Lab Orders You can place lab orders from the Labs tab using the Lab Master template or the Orders console. Grids in Add or Update Assessment Template

The Add or Update Assessment template includes the following grids. Grid Description Today’s Concerns/Reasons for Visit Displays the concern or reason of visit. Delete an Existing Assessment

CAUTION: Removing an item from the Today's Assessment grid does not resolve the diagnosis. The Add or Update Assessments template is part of a group of templates that use the last assessment or diagnosis selected on any of the templates as the working assessment. If you remove one of multiple available assessments on the Add or Update Assessments template, you must select a new working assessment that carries over to the other templates that share the same working assessment. Access the Add or Update Assessment Template

Select the Add/Update button below the Today’s Assessment grid on the MICS MedAdmin OPH template. The Add or Update Assessment template opens. Diagnoses already attached to treatments for this patient appear in the Billing Diagnosis History grid in the upper left. Note: The Add or Update Assessment template is part of a template set, the templates of which are indicated and accessed by the tabs along the top of the window.
