Change the Order of Assessments in the Grid

Because only the first 12 line items are available for billing, providers may want to ensure that certain assessments are included in the top 12 rows for the list. Open NextGen® Enterprise EHR. On the Assessments tab, select Sort to open the Reorder Assessments template. Reorder Assessments In the Existing Sort Order grid, select the row that you would like to be the first in the list. That selection becomes number 1 in the New Sort Order grid. Continue to select the available assessment rows until you have them in the desired order. If you select a row in error, select Undo Last. To start over, select Undo All. When the desired order fills in the New Sort Order grid, select Save & Close. There are several options for accessing the Add or Update Assessments template: On the SOAP template, in the Assessment / Plan panel, select Add/Update. On the Intake or SOAP templates: Select the My Plan link to open the template set. My Plan Select the Assessments tab. Some specialties (for example, Cardiology) access the Assessment Plan Details template differently. Open the SOAP template. In Assessment / Plan, select A/P Details in the navigation bar. The Assessment Plan Details template opens. Place Orders from the My Plan Template

You can place orders for the patient using the My Plan template. Open NextGen® Enterprise EHR. Select the Care Guidelines link on any of the main template. The Care Guidelines Paged View template opens. In the Care Guidelines panel, select the Grid View link. The Care Guidelines grid view template opens. Expand the Recent Orders panel and select Add. The My Plan template opens. My Plan The My Plan template displays order items in the set appropriate for the selected assessment’s diagnosis category. To use a different template in the orders set, select the tab corresponding to the template to use (for example, Labs or Diagnostics). To add or change a diagnosis in the Today's Assessments grid, select Add or Edit. To change the current working assessment, select the diagnosis addressed for this encounter in the Today's Assessments grid. The selected diagnosis appears in the Selected Dx field. It becomes the new working assessment that carries forward to the other templates that share the

Open NextGen® Enterprise EHR. In the Assessment / Plan panel, select an assessment in the grid. The Add or Update Assessment template opens. In the Today's Assessment grid, select an assessment. Delete an Existing Assessment

CAUTION: Removing an item from the Today's Assessment grid does not resolve the diagnosis. The Add or Update Assessments template is part of a group of templates that use the last assessment or diagnosis selected on any of the templates as the working assessment. If you remove one of multiple available assessments on the Add or Update Assessments template, you must select a new working assessment that carries over to the other templates that share the same working assessment.
