Add a Message to Display on Practice Portal
You can add messages to display on the main Practice Portal page by using the Practice Portal Broadcasts feature of Site Generator. Open Site Generator, and then select NextGen Healthcare Site Administration. The Site Generator page opens. From Portal Solutions, select Practice Portal Broadcasts. The Practice Portal Broadcasts page opens. Select Add new broadcast. The Post Broadcast page opens. Enter the title, message text, personnel types, and locations. Select or clear the Active Message check box to activate or deactivate the Patient Portal Broadcasts message. Note: Title is for internal use only. The added text in Title does not appear on the Sign In page of NextGen® Enterprise Practice Portal. Select or clear the Active Message checkbox to activate or deactivate the Patient Portal Broadcasts message. Select Submit. The message appears on the home page of NextGen® Enterprise Practice Portal for the selected locations and personnel types. Parent topic: Portal Solutions for Site Gen

Add or Modify Messages Displayed to Patients on the Main Page
With the Patient Portal Broadcasts feature, you can add global or location-specific banner messages that appear on the logon page of NextGen® PxP Portal. Open Site Generator, and then select NextGen Healthcare Site Administration. The Site Generator page opens. From Portal Solutions, select Patient Portal Broadcasts. The Patient Portal Broadcasts page opens. Select Add new broadcast. Note: The Add new broadcast button is not available if an existing broadcast message is displayed, you must delete the existing message. The Post Broadcast page opens. Enter the new or updated title and message text, and then select Locations. Select the Active Message option to broadcast the message. Note: Title is for internal use only. The added text in Title does not appear on the Sign In page of NextGen® PxP Portal. Select Submit. The message text appears on the Sign In page of NextGen® PxP Portal. Set Up Patient Statement Delivery
You can set electronic statements to be sent to patients through NextGen® PxP Portal. Open Site Generator, and then select NextGen Healthcare Site Administration. The Site Generator page opens. Search for and select your practice. From Administrator - Setup/Access, select Online Solutions > Edit Your Online Solutions.The Manage Your Online Solutions page opens. Select the Activate Solution checkbox next to Online Bill Pay, and then select Confirm Your Changes.The Online Bill Pay option appears on the Site Generator home page under Portal Solutions. From Portal Solutions, select Online Bill Pay > eStatements.The eStatement Configuration page opens. To enable electronic statements for patients, select Enable Statement Delivery. Make changes in Statement Delivery Configuration, and then select Submit. Email Communication
With Email Communication (Opt Out), you can monitor email communications sent to NextGen® PxP Portal users. You can search for messages, manage the opt-out list, add emails to the opt-out list, and configure the email template when needed. View Emails that Failed to Send You can view a list of email communications that was not successfully sent to the patients. View Status Report for Email Messages You can view a status report for email communication. Add or Remove Email Addresses from the Opt-Out List You can add or remove patient email addresses from the email opt-out list based on their requirement to receive email communication or not from NextGen® PxP Portal. Modify Enrollment Invitation Settings
On the Patient Activation page, you can configure enrollment invitation settings such as the enrollment type, the limit for resending enrollment invitations, and the interval for resending enrollment invitations. Note: To change this configuration, contact NextGen Healthcare. Open Site Generator, and then select NextGen Healthcare Site Administration. The Site Generator page opens. From Portal Solutions, select Patient Activation.The Patient Activation page opens. Configure the enrollment invitation settings as needed. Note: You must turn on the Enroll w/ SMS option for your practice to send the enrollment invitation link through the registered mobile number as a text message. The Enroll w/ SMS option is available only if Multi-Factor Authentication is turned on for your practice in the Site Generator Online Solutions. Select Save. Set Up Ask A Staff Questions for Patient Communication
In Ask A Staff, which provides bi-directional patient communication, you can define an unlimited set of question labels. Open Site Generator, and then select NextGen Healthcare Site Administration. The Site Generator page opens. From Portal Solutions, select Ask A Staff. The Ask A Staff Configuration Options page opens. To add a question label, select Add a New Entry. A new row labelled Click to Edit appears. To change the label name, select Edit Label. To enable providers to prescribe medications, document CPT®, and diagnostic codes, select the corresponding Allow Clinical check box. To add providers and staff members to the NextGen® PxP Portal website, select the corresponding Specific to Individuals check box. To turn on the document attachment options, select the corresponding Allow Attachments checkbox. To set up permissions for a question label, select the corresponding Setup Permissions link.
