Send Password Reset Email to a Patient

You can send a password reset email with the account user ID to an active NextGen® PxP Portal patient. The patient can use the password reset email to change the account password and secret question.
  1. Log on to Practice Portal.
  2. To open the Patient Dashboard page, search for and select a patient.
  3. In the Patient Utilities section, select Send Password Reset Email to Patient.
    A message appears to indicate that the password reset email is sent to the patient.
