You can send a password reset email with the account user ID to an active NextGen® PxP Portal patient. The patient can use the password reset email to change the account password and secret question.
Note: For security reasons, the practice can view only the patient's user ID, not the password.
Log on to Practice Portal.
To open the Patient Dashboard page, search for and select a patient.
In the Patient Utilities section, select Send Password Reset Email to Patient.
A message appears to indicate that the password reset email is sent to the patient.
