Reset Multi-Factor Authentication for Patients

You can reset the multi-factor authentication for your patient so that they can update their mobile number and email address when they log on to NextGen® PxP Portal.

  1. Log on to Practice Portal.
  2. To open the Patient Dashboard page, search for and select a patient.
  3. In the Patient Utilities section, select Reset Multi-factor Authentication.
    A message appears to indicate that the multi-factor authentication has been reset for patient.
