By default, patients can request one-time password to their mobile number or email address for authenticating their NextGen® PxP Portal account during logon.
Open Site Generator, and then select NextGen Healthcare Site Administration.
The Site Generator page opens.
From Portal Solutions, select Multi-Factor Authentication.
The Multi-Factor Authentication Settings page opens.
To remove email as a method to get one time password, turn off Enable email as multi-factor authentication method.
To avoid multi-factor authenticaton for a duration, you can set time in Trust device duration.
You can set duration for 30, 60 or 90 days. If you select Disabled, the patients would have to perform multi factor authentication every time they logon to NextGen® PxP Portal
