Total Visit Time Calculation

Use this section to configure how visit time is recorded for your practice. You can set it up to use buttons that enter start and end timestamps (12-hours or 24-hours), or so that users enter the total visit time manually (Manual Time). If you select 12H or 24H Start - End, a Start Time button and field appear at the top of the Single Visit template, and Start Time and End Time buttons and fields appear at the bottom of the template. You can configure the following settings for Single Visit template in the Single Visit section of the NTS Practice Config practice template. Documenting the Summary of Care for a Discharge Visit

When a patient is being discharged, the therapist can document the summary of care. Below the Plan panel on the Single Visit and Speech Single Visit templates for discharge visit types, document the summary of care in the Summary of Care field. Note: The field appears only when the associated visit type is set to DC in the Billing Config template. A configuration setting in the Practice Configuration template can make the field required for discharge visits by Visit Set. Configure the Ordering Diagnosis by Visit Set

You can configure a visit set so that the following information is required before the therapist can submit charges: Users must select the Reviewed checkbox to indicate a review of the ordering diagnosis. Users must add an ordering diagnosis. When you make these required, the user cannot submit billing until they fulfill the configuration requirements. In the NTS Practice Config template, go to the Diagnosis section. Select the Visit Set you want to configure. Under Review Ordering Dx, select one of the following: Required. The therapist cannot submit charges until they mark the Reviewed checkbox. After the therapist selects the checkbox, it remains checked until a new ordering diagnosis is entered. Not Required. Hidden. The Reviewed checkbox does not appear on templates. Under Ordering Dx, select Required or Not Required to set whether an ordering diagnosis must be added before charges can be submitted. Enter a New Visit Type

You can enter a new visit type, but you cannot add or change groups or visit sets; they are hard-coded. Visit Type Setup panel with highlighted fields used for adding visit types Select the field below the Visit Type column. Enter the name of the new visit type. Select the field below the Visit Set column twice. A picklist opens. Select a Visit Set, and then select OK. Select the field below the Group column twice. Note: If no visit group is assigned, you cannot configure a document to run automatically upon submission of Fee Sheet. Refer to Auto Documents on Fee Sheet for how to configure automatic document generation. The Ainf Visit Groups picklist opens. Select a Visit Group. The group enters the field and the picklist closes. Select the Mod field and type GP, GO or GN to indicate if the visit type needs a modifier. Select the checkboxes as needed to indicate whether the visit type: Can be used to bill a Re-eval if selected on Single Visit or Fee Sheet Will count toward the patient’

Add Patient Status

In the NTS Single Visit template, you can document a change in the patient’s condition. In the Assessment panel, select the Patient status field. The Patient Status picklist opens for you to select a description of change in patient status. Patient Status picklist Do one of the following to enter the patient status: If the picklist displays the status you want to use, select a descriptor for the change in the patient’s status. The picklist closes and the description appears in the Patient Status field. If the desired descriptor does not appear in the picklist, select blank at the top of the list to close the picklist, and then type an entry in the Patient Status field. The picklist closes and the description appears in the Patient Status field. To change the entry, open the picklist again, and then select another descriptor.
