When a patient is being discharged, the therapist can document the summary of care.
Below the Plan panel on the Single Visit and Speech Single Visit templates for discharge visit types, document the summary of care in the Summary of Care field.
Note: The field appears only when the associated visit type is set to DC in the Billing Config template. A configuration setting in the Practice Configuration template can make the field required for discharge visits by Visit Set. For more information, refer to the Configuration Guide for NextGen® Therapy Suite.
