Chiro Single Visit Bottom Section

The section below the panels of the Chiro Single Visit template has fields to document: visit time, patient visit frequency and duration, provider signoff, and carbon copies. Top Section

The Ordering field displays the name of the provider from the case properties. The Rendering and Supervising fields displays the Rendering and Supervising provider names from the encounter properties. The Primary Therapist field is an optional field. The Onset/DOI Date and Post Onset/Injury fields are read-only. They show the date of injury pulled from the case and the number of days and weeks since the injury occurred. The SOC Visits field tracks the total number of billable visits created for this patient since start of care. If configured, select the Start Time field to record the start time of the patient visit. Visit Time

You can document the visit time for patients using one of the following methods based on your practice configuration done in the Single Visit section on the Practice Config practice template. If the application is configured to use the start and end timestamps to calculate total time for the patient visit, a Start Time button and field appear at the top of the Single Visit template, and Start Time and End time buttons and fields appear at the bottom of the template. Start Time and End Time fields on the Single Visit template If the application is configured to use manually entered total time, the Total Active Visit Time field appears at the bottom of the template. Note: If you change the minutes in Total Active Visit Time on the Single Visit template, you must reopen Fee Sheet to ensure correct calculations and documentation for the encounter. If turned on, you can enter the evaluation or re-evaluation time in the Eval/Re-Eval field. The time entered in Eval/Re-Eval is not added to the

Documenting the Summary of Care for a Discharge Visit

When a patient is being discharged, the therapist can document the summary of care. Below the Plan panel on the Single Visit and Speech Single Visit templates for discharge visit types, document the summary of care in the Summary of Care field. Note: The field appears only when the associated visit type is set to DC in the Billing Config template. A configuration setting in the Practice Configuration template can make the field required for discharge visits by Visit Set. Total Visit Time Calculation

Use this section to configure how visit time is recorded for your practice. You can set it up to use buttons that enter start and end timestamps (12-hours or 24-hours), or so that users enter the total visit time manually (Manual Time). If you select 12H or 24H Start - End, a Start Time button and field appear at the top of the Single Visit template, and Start Time and End Time buttons and fields appear at the bottom of the template.
