You can document the visit time for patients using one of the following methods based on your practice configuration done in the
Single Visit section on the
Practice Config practice template.
If the application is configured to use the start and end timestamps to calculate total time for the patient visit, a Start Time button and field appear at the top of the Single Visit template, and Start Time and End time buttons and fields appear at the bottom of the template.

If the application is configured to use manually entered total time, the
Total Active Visit Time field appears at the bottom of the template.
Note:
- If you change the minutes in Total Active Visit Time on the Single Visit template, you must reopen Fee Sheet to ensure correct calculations and documentation for the encounter.
- If turned on, you can enter the evaluation or re-evaluation time in the Eval/Re-Eval field. The time entered in Eval/Re-Eval is not added to the Total Active Visit Time.
