Add Carbon Copies

Carbon Copies are available for notes in the Carbon Copies area at the bottom of Single Visit template. To add a Carbon Copy, select the Providers button. Manage Database Picklists for Documents, Surveys, and Worklogs

The document, survey, and worklog picklists contain items built into the templates that users have access to, but you can customize the lists. Open the Navigation Configuration system template, and then expand the Database Picklist panel. In the Name field, select one of the following: Document picklist contains all therapy documents that users across your practice can manually generate, including documents generated by the Preview Note button on Single Visit templates. Surveys picklist contains surveys built into the templates. Worklog picklist displays all available worklogs. The Link/Display grid displays the items in the picklist. Select the field under the Link column. For documents, the Inf Nav Doc List picklist appears. For surveys or worklog, the Inf Nav Item List picklist appears. Select the name you want to add, and then select OK. Note: For documents, the name is the actual file name saved within the document builder. In the field under the Display column, enter the name as

Pre Visit Planning

You can use the Pre Visit Planning template to review a patient's chart and take appropriate steps to be prepared for an upcoming patient visit. Bookmarking Documents and Images

For quickly accessing the list of documents and NextGen® Document Management images attached to a patient's encounters during the patient visit, you can bookmark them in the Documents / Images panel on the Pre Visit Planning template. Create a New Database Picklist

You can create a new database picklist for configuration of navigation links on medical record templates. On the Specialty Nav Config system template, expand the Database Picklist panel. In the field below the Name column of the left grid, enter the name for the picklist. In the field below the Type column, select the type: template, document, or web/app. In the field below the Link column of the right grid, select the item to be added in the picklist. Add button in the Database Picklist panel In the Display field, enter the display name for the item. Repeat link selections and naming until you have all entries you want in the picklist. Click Add. Generating Documents

You can generate the following documents: Document Preview – This opens the AINF_office_visit document as a preview. The document is not saved to the Patient History unless you choose to do so after previewing it. Correction Addendum – This generates a document that shows the correction summary (steps taken to complete the correction). Corrected Office Note – This generates and saves the corrected AINF_office_visit document.
