Add Rehab Potential

Select the Rehab potential field. From the Rehab Potential picklist, select the patient’s overall rehabilitation potential that is associated with the treating Dx (Excellent, Good, Fair, Poor), or select the blank at the top of the picklist if you want to enter an entry. To change or delete the entry, open the picklist again, and then select another descriptor from the list, or select the blank at the top of the list to leave the field blank. Add Patient Status

In the NTS Speech Single Visit template, you can document a change in the patient’s condition. In the Assessment panel, select the Patient status field. The Patient Status picklist opens for you to select a description of change in patient status. Patient Status picklist Do one of the following to enter the patient status: If the picklist displays the status you want to use, select a descriptor for the change in the patient’s status. The picklist closes and the description appears in the Patient Status field. If the desired descriptor does not appear in the picklist, select blank at the top of the list to close the picklist, and then type an entry in the Patient Status field. The picklist closes and the description appears in the Patient Status field. To change the entry, open the picklist again, and then select another descriptor. Rehab Potential and Patient Status

The two fields at the top of the Assessment panel open picklists for you to document an assessment of the patient’s potential for rehabilitation, and the change in their condition since the previous visit. Add Treatment Plan Details for PT/OT and Speech Visits

In the NTS Single Visit or NTS Speech Single Visit template, expand the Plan panel, and then go to the Treatment Plan section. If this is the first visit in this case, the Treatment grid will be empty. Afterwards, when you open this template, all entries in the grid copy forward from the prior visit. Select a category of treatment activities by doing one of the following: To enter general treatment activities, select Default. To enter treatment activities specific to a specialty, select a specialty category. Note: Administrators can configure categories and associated picklists in the NTS Picklist Manager practice template. Select the Treatment field. A picklist of treatment items opens. Do one of the following to add all treatment activities you plan to use to rehabilitate the patient: Select the items from the picklist, and then select Close or Done. Require Summary of Care for Discharge Visits

You can require users to add a summary of care for discharge visits by selecting the applicable visit sets. In the Single Visit section of the NTS Practice Config template, locate the Summary of Care for Discharge Visits setting. Summary of Care for Discharge Visits Select the field below the Visit Set grid. The Visit Set picklist appears. The list displays items that have DC set to Yes in the Visit Type Setup panel of the NTS Billing Config template. In the picklist, select a visit set. Add Therapy Goals Manually

You can manually add each goal. Note: Alternatively, you can quickly add standard goals by using QuickPicks. See QuickPicks. If you do not want to use picklists to enter goal details, you can turn them off in the Practice Config practice template in the Legacy Picklist Functionality setting of the Goals panel. Open the NTS Therapy Goals template. NTS Therapy Goals template Enter all the details that are required for saving the goal: In the Type field, select the type of goal. Enter the Goal and Function. Enter the total number of weeks the patient is expected to achieve the goal. If necessary, in Response to Treatment, document the patient’s treatment response for the goal. For example, you could enter the treatment response as the percentage of goal completion. In Status, you can select the status of the goal or leave the field blank. For example, you can capture the patient’s current status towards achieving the goal or the status when the patient was initially transferred mid-treatm
