Configure the IMO Diagnosis Template

Diagnosis Section

You can configure whether certain diagnosis-related fields appear and how the fields behave. Diagnosis section of the Practice Config template Configure the Ordering Diagnosis by Visit Set You can use a visit set as criteria when you configure whether the therapist must review the ordering diagnosis or add an ordering diagnosis for charge submission. Above the diagnosis grid you may see a Reviewed checkbox. Reviewed checkbox If you select the Reviewed checkbox, the system copies data forward to future encounters until a new ordering diagnosis is added. If a new ordering diagnosis is added, the checkbox clears; the therapist must review the additional diagnosis and select the checkbox again. Note: The Reviewed checkbox can be configured to be: Required, Not required, or Hidden on the Practice Configuration practice template. Select an Ordering Diagnosis as a Treating Diagnosis

When a patient comes to you for therapy, they may have one or more ordering diagnoses already added. Based on your assessment, you determine the treating diagnoses to support the patient’s need for therapy. You can select from the existing ordering diagnoses or select additional ones that better reflect the specific diagnoses related to therapy treatment. Expand the Assessment panel. Ordering Dx lists the diagnoses that were added on the NTS Homepage template. Under Ordering Dx, review the ordering diagnoses to determine which ones should be included as treating diagnoses. Select an ordering diagnosis, and then select the right arrow to move it to the Treating Dx list. Treating Dx displays the diagnosis. The diagnosis remains visible in the Ordering Dx list. Ordering Dx and Treating Dx grids Note: If a diagnosis you need is not listed, you can add it as treating diagnosis. Require Summary of Care for Discharge Visits

You can require users to add a summary of care for discharge visits by selecting the applicable visit sets. In the Single Visit section of the NTS Practice Config template, locate the Summary of Care for Discharge Visits setting. Summary of Care for Discharge Visits Select the field below the Visit Set grid. The Visit Set picklist appears. The list displays items that have DC set to Yes in the Visit Type Setup panel of the NTS Billing Config template. In the picklist, select a visit set. The picklist closes and the visit set appears in the field. Select Add to add the item to the Visit Set grid. Parent topic: Single Visit
