Configure the Ordering Diagnosis by Visit Set
You can configure a visit set so that the following information is required before the therapist can submit charges: Users must select the Reviewed checkbox to indicate a review of the ordering diagnosis. Users must add an ordering diagnosis. When you make these required, the user cannot submit billing until they fulfill the configuration requirements. In the NTS Practice Config template, go to the Diagnosis section. Select the Visit Set you want to configure. Under Review Ordering Dx, select one of the following: Required. The therapist cannot submit charges until they mark the Reviewed checkbox. After the therapist selects the checkbox, it remains checked until a new ordering diagnosis is entered. Not Required. Hidden. The Reviewed checkbox does not appear on templates. Under Ordering Dx, select Required or Not Required to set whether an ordering diagnosis must be added before charges can be submitted. You can configure whether certain diagnosis-related fields appear and how the fields behave. Open the Practice Configuration Template
Open the NTS Practice Config practice template from the Specialty Config Home system template so you can configure settings and preferences for your practice. From the File menu, select System \ Practice Template. The Select Template window opens. From the Show section, select All. On the System tab, select Specialty Config Home, and then select OK. The Specialty Config Home template opens. In the System Sidebar, select Practice Config. The NTS Practice Config practice template opens. Parent topic: Practice Configuration

Add a Treating Diagnosis from the Common Assessments Template
You can add additional treating diagnoses using IMO or Common assessment templates. Note: If your practice is licensed for Problem Intelligent Medical Objects (IMO) functionality, select the Problem IT button under the Treating Dx grid to open IMO to add assessments. Select Add. The Inf Common Assessment window opens. If the Common Assessments field is blank or does not show the Diagnosis Codes page you want, do the following: Select the Common Assessments field. The Inf Common Assess Dbpl window opens. Select the Diagnosis Codes page you want, and then select OK. The selected Diagnosis Codes page opens. Select one or more diagnoses. If you select an item with a plus sign, a picklist opens for you to select a more specific diagnosis. The Treating grid shows all selected diagnoses. Select Save & Close. Add a Treating Diagnosis
You can add additional treating diagnosis using IMO or Common assessment templates. The following steps describe adding treating diagnosis codes using the Common Assessments templates. Note: If your practice is licensed for Problem Intelligent Medical Objects (IMO) functionality, select the Problem IT button under the grid to open IMO to add assessments. Select Add. The Inf Common Assessment window opens. Select the Common Assessments field to select the diagnosis codes page you want to use, and then select OK. The selected page opens. Headers and categories are in bold font. Items showing a code pull directly to the history. Items with a plus sign open picklists to select a more specific diagnosis code. Inf Common Assessment template Select one or more diagnosis codes. The codes you select appear in the Treating grid at the lower left. Select Save & Close. Open the Diagnosis Group Configuration Template
You can open the Specialty Diagnosis Group Config template from the specialty configuration homepage. On the Specialty Config Home template, select Assessment from the left navigation bar. The Specialty Diagnosis Group Config template opens. Select the Product field, and select one of the following options from the list. IORTS. Select this option to configure settings for NextGen® Orthopedic Suite. MLTS. Select this option to configure settings for NextGen® Medication Inventory Control.
