Audiology Subjective Panel

The Ordering Diagnosis grid pulls data entered on Homepage. To update Ordering Diagnosis information, you must do so on Homepage. The Past Medical History grid displays any medical and surgical history that was captured in a NextGen Healthcare application for the patient. You can edit the Past Medical History on this page and add family and social history. Add Surgery Information to an Audiology Visit

You can document the patient's past and upcoming surgeries and indicate whether they pertain to the injury you are treating. Open a patient record, and then in Encounter History, expand a case and select an encounter. Open the NTS Audiology Single Visit template, and then select a visit type. In the Subjective panel, select Surgery Hx to open the NTS Surgery template. The Surgical History grid displays any documented past surgeries for the patient. The Surgery Related to Therapy Episode grid displays surgeries related to the current episode of care. Select Surgery Description, and then do one of the following in the Surgeries list: Select a surgery name, and then select OK. Select the first blank line, select OK, and then enter a custom description. Enter the surgery date and CPT4 code. Select Add. In the confirmation message, do one of the following: If the surgery is related to today’s treatment, select Yes. The surgery information appears in both the Surgical History and Surgery Rel

Add Medical History

Select the Medical HX button below the grid. The Past Medical History template opens. Select the checkbox next to the history you want to add. Items in black prompt for an onset date. Items with blue labels open a picklist to select from, to further specify the PMH for that item. For example, if you select Cancer, a picklist opens to select the type of cancer. Select the type of cancer, and then select OK, where upon you are prompted to enter the onset date. If you select Other, a search window opens. Here you can search for the specific PMH. Select the desired PMH, enter the onset date and then select Save to Grid. Select Save & Close. Parent topic: Past Medical and Surgical History

Diagnosis and History

The Surgery and Past Medical History grids display any history that was captured in a NextGen Healthcare application for the patient. You can edit the Past Medical History on this page and add family and social history. The Precautions/Contraindications pull over if entered on Homepage. You can also update them on SLP Single Visit. Medical History of Patients

You can document a patient's medical history such as diseases, disorders, and surgical procedures. The Medical History grid enables you to document and view a patient's diseases and disorders and the surgical procedures performed on them. You can add, edit, and remove the patient's medical histories in this grid. Past Medical History

Any past medical history entered in the NextGen® Enterprise EHR appears in the Past Medical History grid. You can add additional items to it from the NTS Sp PMH template. You can also add family and social history for the patient, but those do not appear in the grid.
