Single Visit Subjective Panel

Use the Subjective panel on the NTS Single Visit template to document the patient’s history. The Subjective panel also gives you access to additional templates to document the patient’s limitations, work demands, and specialty subjective information. In the Job Title, Work Status, and Last Worked fields, you can document the patient’s workplace and work status information. Note: These fields share the same values from the Job Title, Work Status, and Last Worked fields on the NTS Homepage template. The Ordering Diagnosis grid pulls data entered on the NTS Homepage template. To update Ordering Diagnosis information, open the NTS Homepage template. The Surgery and Past Medical History grids display any history that was captured in a NextGen Healthcare application for the patient. You can edit past medical history and add family and social history. Speech Subjective Panel

Use this panel to document the patient’s chief complaints and their history. The panel also gives you access to additional templates to document the patient’s limitations, nutrition, cognition, fluency, and other subjective information. Past Medical and Surgical History

The Past Medical History grid displays any Medical and Surgical history that was captured in a NextGen Healthcare application in your organization or practice. For example, if you have one practice but multiple locations, all locations can see the Past Medical History regardless of where it was entered. The Ordering Diagnosis grid pulls data entered on Homepage. To update Ordering Diagnosis information, open Homepage. The Surgery and Past Medical History grids display any history that was captured in a NextGen Healthcare application for the patient. You can edit the Past Medical History on this page and add family and social history. The Precautions/Contraindications pull over if entered on Homepage. You can also update them on SLP Single Visit. You can also document Prior Testing/Imaging here. Subjective Comments

Use the Comments (Subjective) field to record things such as observations, additional information, instructions, and plans that otherwise do not have discrete data fields. You can type text into the field or add saved phrases from a “My Phrases” set. For more information, see Add Comments. The Review Comments link above the field opens a window where you can review comments entered in all sections of the patient’s chart. You can also review and copy comments that were captured on previous encounters with that patient. For more information, see Review, Modify, and Copy Comments.
