View Injury History within a Case

If any of the patient's past chief complaints and injury details in the case were documented in NextGen® Therapy Suite versions 3.0.11.0 and earlier, you can view them, but you cannot add, edit, or delete them. Open a patient record, and then in Encounter History, expand a case and select an encounter. Open the NTS Single Visit template. In the Subjective panel, select the Historical Injury Grid link. The Injury Subjective View grid displays the patient's case history of chief complaints and associated injuries. Parent topic: Single Visit Subjective Panel

Add Family/Social History

Select Fam/Soc Hx. Fam/Soc Hx button under Past Medical History section A picklist opens for you to select the type of history you want to document. Select the history, and then select OK. The Social History template opens to the page you selected. You can select other social histories from the left navigation pane. Document and Review Patient Pain for a Physical or Occupational Therapy Visit

You can document the patient's pain levels for the current day, when they are at rest, and when they are active. You can also review the pain history within the case to assess the patient's pain levels over time. Open a patient record, and then in Encounter History, expand a case and select an encounter. Open the NTS Single Visit template, and then expand the Subjective panel. Enter the pain levels in Today, At Rest, and During Activity. Optional: To review the patient's pain levels over time within the case, select the Pain link. The Pain History template opens with the pain details of all the encounters related to the case. To document the pain experienced during the patient's daily functions, select Function in Subjective Grid to open the Function template. Optional: To view historical pain levels from the Function template, select the Previous Pain Grid link. The Previous Pain Grid template opens with pain data from previous versions. Add Past Medical History

Select the Edit button below the Past Medical History grid. The NTS Sp PMH template opens. NTS Sp PMH template Mark the checkbox next to an item you want to enter. If you select an item with black text, a date field appears for you to enter the onset date. If you select an item with blue text, the Ainf Sp Pmh Select Dbpl picklist opens for you to further specify the item and enter an onset date. Select the more specific description from the picklist, and then select OK. The NTS Sp Pmh Select window opens. NTS Sp Pmh Select template Enter the Onset Date. Select the Side field, and then select the side if applicable. Select Save to Grid. The item enters the grid on the NTS Sp PMH template. Repeat step 2 for any additional medical history you want to add. Select Save & Close. Add Past Medical History from a Search

Select the Edit button below the Past Medical History grid. The NTS Sp PMH template opens. Mark the Other checkbox. A search window opens. Enter a search term in the top field, and then select Search. Search results for other past medical history Highlight the item from the list, and then select Select. The window closes and the item you selected enters the Description field in the NTS Sp Pmh Select window, along with the SNOMED code. NTS Sp Pmh Select template Enter the Onset Date. Select the Side field to select the side if applicable. Select Save to Grid. The selected item appears in the grid on the NTS Sp PMH template. Select Save & Close. Single Visit Subjective Panel

Use the Subjective panel on the NTS Single Visit template to document the patient’s history. The Subjective panel also gives you access to additional templates to document the patient’s limitations, work demands, and specialty subjective information. In the Job Title, Work Status, and Last Worked fields, you can document the patient’s workplace and work status information. Note: These fields share the same values from the Job Title, Work Status, and Last Worked fields on the NTS Homepage template. The Ordering Diagnosis grid pulls data entered on the NTS Homepage template. To update Ordering Diagnosis information, open the NTS Homepage template. The Surgery and Past Medical History grids display any history that was captured in a NextGen Healthcare application for the patient. You can edit past medical history and add family and social history.
