Allow Therapists to Correct a Provider Mismatch

The system now helps with identifying and correcting rendering provider mismatches. If the therapist on the Fee Sheet does not match the rendering or supervising provider on the encounter, you can configure the system to notify the therapist of the issue and allow them to override the rendering provider on the encounter with the therapist or provider submitting charges. In the NTS Practice Config template, scroll to the Fee Sheet section. For the Rendering Provider Mismatch Override setting, select the visit set that the override applies to, and then select one of the following: Automatic makes the You are not the Rendering Provider on this encounter message and the Make me the Rendering Provider checkbox appear on the Fee Sheet. The checkbox is selected by default. When the therapist submits charges, the system automatically updates the encounter rendering provider to be the current user. Visit Time

You can document the visit time for patients using one of the following methods based on your practice configuration done in the Single Visit section on the Practice Config practice template. If the application is configured to use the start and end timestamps to calculate total time for the patient visit, a Start Time button and field appear at the top of the Single Visit template, and Start Time and End time buttons and fields appear at the bottom of the template. Start Time and End Time fields on the Single Visit template If the application is configured to use manually entered total time, the Total Active Visit Time field appears at the bottom of the template. Note: If you change the minutes in Total Active Visit Time on the Single Visit template, you must reopen Fee Sheet to ensure correct calculations and documentation for the encounter. Enter a New Visit Type

You can enter a new visit type, but you cannot add or change groups or visit sets; they are hard-coded. Visit Type Setup panel with highlighted fields used for adding visit types Select the field below the Visit Type column. Enter the name of the new visit type. Select the field below the Visit Set column twice. A picklist opens. Select a Visit Set, and then select OK. Select the field below the Group column twice. Note: If no visit group is assigned, you cannot configure a document to run automatically upon submission of Fee Sheet. Refer to Auto Documents on Fee Sheet for how to configure automatic document generation. The Ainf Visit Groups picklist opens. Select a Visit Group. The group enters the field and the picklist closes. Select the Mod field and type GP, GO or GN to indicate if the visit type needs a modifier. Select the checkboxes as needed to indicate whether the visit type: Can be used to bill a Re-eval if selected on Single Visit or Fee Sheet Will count toward the patient’

Display or Hide the Eval/Re-Eval Field on the NTS Single Visit Template

You can make the Eval/Re-Eval field appear on the Single Visit template from the Single Visit section on the NTS Practice Config practice template. On the NTS Practice Config practice template, go to the Single Visit section.
