Configure Time Based Alert for Eval and Re-Eval Visits

You can configure the alert to notify the therapists that they have not documented enough time for the evaluation or re-evaluation portion of the visit as per the practice standards. On the NTS Practice Config practice template, go to the Fee Sheet section. Eval and Re-Eval Time Difference settings in the Fee Sheet section of the Practice Config template For Eval and Re-Eval Time Difference settings, do the following: In the field below the Visit Set column of the grid, select the therapy type. Select Eval or Re-Eval. In the field below Minutes column of the grid, enter the desired minimum time difference between Total Active Visit Time and Treatment time. Select one of the following for alert type: Alert Only. Select this option, if you want to configure the alert that enables the user to submit charges without changing the documented times. Hard Stop. Select this option, if you want to configure the alert that forces the user to update the documented times to meet the minimum differe

Correct a Rendering Provider Mismatch Before Submitting Charges

To avoid having the wrong rendering provider on encounters and claims, you may need to correct a provider mismatch. A mismatch occurs when you are the therapist submitting charges on the FeeSheet, but you are not the rendering or supervising provider on the encounter. Open the NT PT Feesheet template. If your system is configured for automatic or manual provider mismatch override and there is a mismatch between the current user and the rendering provider on the encounter, the template displays a message notifying you that you are not the rendering provider and the Make me the Rendering checkbox. NTS PT Feesheet template with Make me the Rendering checkbox Do one of the following: If the checkbox is selected for you by default, submit the charges. You cannot clear the checkbox. The system will automatically make you the rendering provider on the encounter and assign your name to the charges. After you have completed all documentation for an encounter, select the Fee Sheet tab in the workflow bar, or the Fee Sheet button below the panels on the Single Visit template, to open the Fee Sheet template. Charge Entry Options

The following table describes the options available on the Charges tab of the Charge Entry Practice Preferences. Field Description Prevent charge rendering physician modifications after practice closing Select this option to prevent users from changing a charge's rendering physician if the charge was created before the closing date. Note that the charge create date does not have to be the encounter date; a charge can be added after practice closing and the rendering does not lock down until the practice closes again. You can still add a rendering physician if no rendering physician has been entered for the charge. Prevent charge referring physician modifications after practice closing Select this check box to prevent users from changing the charge's referring provider on an encounter after practice closing. Configure the Ordering Diagnosis by Visit Set

You can configure a visit set so that the following information is required before the therapist can submit charges: Users must select the Reviewed checkbox to indicate a review of the ordering diagnosis. Users must add an ordering diagnosis. When you make these required, the user cannot submit billing until they fulfill the configuration requirements. In the NTS Practice Config template, go to the Diagnosis section. Select the Visit Set you want to configure. Under Review Ordering Dx, select one of the following: Required. The therapist cannot submit charges until they mark the Reviewed checkbox. After the therapist selects the checkbox, it remains checked until a new ordering diagnosis is entered. Not Required. Hidden. The Reviewed checkbox does not appear on templates. Under Ordering Dx, select Required or Not Required to set whether an ordering diagnosis must be added before charges can be submitted.
