Diagnosis Section

You can configure whether certain diagnosis-related fields appear and how the fields behave. Diagnosis section of the Practice Config template Configure the Ordering Diagnosis by Visit Set You can use a visit set as criteria when you configure whether the therapist must review the ordering diagnosis or add an ordering diagnosis for charge submission. You can configure the following settings for Single Visit template in the Single Visit section of the NTS Practice Config practice template. Visit time calculation Enable or disable Eval or Re-Eval field Focus on Therapeutic Outcome (FOTO) integration Enable or disable Physiotec link Enable or disable MedBridge HEP link Pain location Summary of Care for Discharge Visits Single Visit section of the Practice Config template Total Visit Time Calculation Display or Hide the Eval/Re-Eval Field on the NTS Single Visit Template You can make the Eval/Re-Eval field appear on the Single Visit template from the Single Visit section on the NTS Practice Config practice template. Configure Time Based Alert for Eval and Re-Eval Visits

You can configure the alert to notify the therapists that they have not documented enough time for the evaluation or re-evaluation portion of the visit as per the practice standards. On the NTS Practice Config practice template, go to the Fee Sheet section. Eval and Re-Eval Time Difference settings in the Fee Sheet section of the Practice Config template For Eval and Re-Eval Time Difference settings, do the following: In the field below the Visit Set column of the grid, select the therapy type. Select Eval or Re-Eval. In the field below Minutes column of the grid, enter the desired minimum time difference between Total Active Visit Time and Treatment time. Select one of the following for alert type: Alert Only. Select this option, if you want to configure the alert that enables the user to submit charges without changing the documented times. Hard Stop. Select this option, if you want to configure the alert that forces the user to update the documented times to meet the minimum differe

Allow Therapists to Correct a Provider Mismatch

The system now helps with identifying and correcting rendering provider mismatches. If the therapist on the Fee Sheet does not match the rendering or supervising provider on the encounter, you can configure the system to notify the therapist of the issue and allow them to override the rendering provider on the encounter with the therapist or provider submitting charges. In the NTS Practice Config template, scroll to the Fee Sheet section. For the Rendering Provider Mismatch Override setting, select the visit set that the override applies to, and then select one of the following: Automatic makes the You are not the Rendering Provider on this encounter message and the Make me the Rendering Provider checkbox appear on the Fee Sheet. The checkbox is selected by default. When the therapist submits charges, the system automatically updates the encounter rendering provider to be the current user. Practice Configuration

You can use the NTS Practice Config template to configure settings for the practice that you are logged on to. The template has a table layout with rows of settings for Scripts, Single Visit, Diagnosis, PT/OT Exams, PT/OT Modalities, PT/OT Aquatherapy, Goals, Fee Sheet, QuickPicks, Cancel, Screening, and Student Settings with SLP Students. Open the Practice Configuration Template Open the NTS Practice Config practice template from the Specialty Config Home system template so you can configure settings and preferences for your practice.
