If needed for a claim, each CPT Code in the Charges grid can have a different Dx Code attached.

The Dx Codes column in the Charges grid shows any diagnosis codes attached to that line item. The application applies all treating diagnosis codes to all treatment and visit codes listed in the Charges grid by default, and applies to all X-rays only the diagnosis codes selected when the X-ray was placed. You can change which diagnoses are applied to the codes in the grid, however, there must be at least one diagnosis attached to each code entry, or the application fires an alert and prevents you from submitting charges. To add all selected diagnoses to all procedures in the bottom grid, click the Apply To All button. Any diagnosis with a check mark is added to all procedure in the coding grid. To apply codes to individual procedures, do the following: Select the diagnosis codes desired for the procedure. Select the procedure. Click the Apply Codes button. You can remove diagnosis codes and change the order of diagnosis codes in a diagnosis group. On the Specialty Diagnosis Group Config template, expand the Manage Diagnosis Groups and Codes panel. Note: By default, all active diagnosis groups are displayed in the grid of the Add Diagnosis Group section. You can filter the values in the grid by selecting the View Dx groups created/modified today option or entering the desired value in the Show field. Select the desired diagnosis group from the grid of the Add Diagnosis Group section. The results are as follows: The details of the selected diagnosis group are filled in their corresponding fields of the Add Diagnosis Group section. The diagnosis codes associated with the selected group are filled in the Assigned Diagnosis Codes grid of the Assign Diagnosis Codes to Group section. To remove diagnosis codes from the selected diagnosis group, do the following in the Assign Diagnosis Codes to Group section. You can update, deactivate, or delete a diagnosis group and copy an existing diagnosis group to create another group. On the Specialty Diagnosis Group Config practice template, expand the Manage Diagnosis Groups and Codes panel. From the Add Diagnosis Group grid, select the desired record. Note: To find a newly created group, select the View Dx groups created/modified today option above the grid. The name of selected diagnosis group appears above the Assigned Diagnosis Codes grid. In the Assign Diagnosis Codes to Group section: In the Description field, enter the few characters of desired diagnosis description. For Type, select a code type: ICD-9 or ICD-10. Click Search. The diagnosis codes matching with selected search criteria appear in the Search Results grid. Select the desired diagnosis code from the search results and click Right arrow icon. The assigned diagnosis code appears in the Assigned Diagnosis Codes grid. To move all the codes from Search Results grid to Assigned Diagnosis Codes grid, click Move all icon. The Assessments grid displays today’s assessments. Click Add under the assessment grid to add additional diagnosis codes. Select diagnosis codes from the Assessment grid to attach them to the procedure for billing. The ICD codes attached to the procedure appear in the ICD section. The primary diagnosis in bold and listed first. Assessments on the IORTS FV View template Select a diagnosis code and use the up and down arrows to change the order or primary listed ICD code.
