Charges Grid

The Charges grid shows the visit code (if applicable) and any documented treatments from Chiro Single Visit, except for DME items. Note: You cannot change any charges on the Fee Sheet. You must make all documentation changes on the appropriate templates and then reopen the Fee Sheet to display the appropriate charges for that encounter. Charges grid All necessary modifiers are automatically applied to the CPT codes, based on the rules set up on the Billing Configuration system template for the payer attached to the case. Note: If the Cpt Code column for an item displays Not Billed, it could be due to the following: The code is prevented for that payer on the Billing Configuration system template. The code does not have enough time documented based on the configuration for that code. The code was marked as Concurrent on the template. Any code marked as Concurrent will not be billed. Select Visit Type

For chiropractic visits that require an E&M code, options appear below Visit Type. Mark the appropriate option. This is required to submit charges on certain visit types. Apply Different Diagnoses to CPT Codes

If needed for a claim, each CPT Code in the Charges grid can have a different Dx Code attached. Select the CPT Codes in the Charges grid. When a charge is selected, a check mark appears in the first column for that charge line and the buttons below the grid become active. Select the Remove DX button to remove all diagnoses from the selected CPT Codes. In the Diagnosis grid, select the diagnoses that you want to apply to the selected charges. Select the diagnoses in the order of priority. The diagnosis listed as 1 will be the primary diagnosis assigned to the CPT codes. Do any of the following: To apply the selected diagnosis to the selected CPT Code(s), select Apply DX. To apply the selected diagnosis to all CPT Code(s), select Apply DX to All. Apply Diagnoses to Procedures

To add all selected diagnoses to all procedures in the bottom grid, click the Apply To All button. Any diagnosis with a check mark is added to all procedure in the coding grid. To apply codes to individual procedures, do the following: Select the diagnosis codes desired for the procedure. Select the procedure. Click the Apply Codes button. Diagnosis Grid

The Diagnosis grid shows the treating diagnosis entered in the Treating Dx field on Single Visit. To make any changes or additions to the Diagnosis grid, return to Assessment/Plan section of the Chiro Single Visit template. Parent topic: Open the Fee Sheet
