Upload the Billing Data in the Procedure Billing Data

In the Procedure Billing panel, select the Auto Billing button.The billing data uploads to the grid. The Auto Billing button becomes unavailable for selection. Note: To display a diagnosis code in the grid, you need to first select the Auto Dx button in the Assessment/Plan panel to upload the diagnosis details in the Today's Assessments grid on the Add or Update Assessment template. If you update or select the new values in the Documentation and/or Findings panel, the Auto Billing button becomes available for selection. Procedure Billing After the required billing data is available in the grid, select the Verify Charges button.The Charges verified checkbox appears. This checkbox is selected and cannot be cleared. Bill a Procedure

Select Procedure and select a procedure from the list.The list includes procedures selected in the current encounter. A list appears to select a procedure description associated with the code. Select a description from the list. The procedure description and the associated procedure code appear in the Procedure description field and CPT code field respectively. Select Dx Description 1 and select a diagnosis.The associated diagnosis code appears in the Code field. If applicable, enter a diagnosis in the Dx Descriptions 2 through Dx Descriptions 4 fields. Select Add.The documented procedures appear in the grid. Note: The diagnosis selected in the Dx Description fields uploads in the Today's Assessments grid on the Add or Update Assessment template. In the Documentation and/or Findings panel, select the values that are associated with the procedure diagnosis. Expand the Assessment/Plan panel and select the Auto Dx button.The Add or Update Assessment template open. The system uploads the procedure diagnosis in the Today Assessment grid. Apply Diagnoses to Procedures

To add all selected diagnoses to all procedures in the bottom grid, click the Apply To All button. Any diagnosis with a check mark is added to all procedure in the coding grid. To apply codes to individual procedures, do the following: Select the diagnosis codes desired for the procedure. Select the procedure. Click the Apply Codes button. Add New Assessments Using the Diagnosis Code Lookup Link

If the assessments that you want to add are not in the Billing Diagnosis History grid, you can add them from the Diagnosis Code Lookup link below the grid. Select the Diagnosis Code Lookup link. The diagnosis search window opens. Do one or both of the following, as needed. Enter any string of characters that may be in the clinical description for the diagnosis, and click Search. Scroll to find the diagnosis in the right-hand list. Highlight the diagnosis. Select Select. The Diagnosis search window closes and the diagnosis you selected appears in the Billing Diagnosis History grid. Select Add/Update to add the diagnosis to Today’s Assessments. When all assessments are in the Today’s Assessments grid, click Save & Close. All assessments in the Today’s Assessments grid on the Add or Update Assessment template are entered into the Today’s Assessments grid on the MICS Med/Admin OPH template. Add an Assessment (Diagnosis)

The Today’s Diagnosis grid pulls in diagnoses that were entered on the Billable Visit template under the Diagnosis Management section. Diagnoses with a check mark are selected to be applied to Procedure codes in the coding grid. All diagnoses are selected by default when you open the Finalize Visit template. Click the Add - Remove button below the Today’s Diagnosis grid. The IORTS FV Add Assess template opens. IORTS FV Add Assess template Double-click the diagnosis in the patient’s Diagnosis grid to add it to the Today’s Diagnosis grid. Note: If a diagnosis is not in the grid, you can find and add it by using the Add button (or the Problem IT button if your practice is configured to use IMO).
