Add New Assessments From Common Assessments Page

If the assessments that you want to add are not in the Billing Diagnosis History grid, you can add them from the Add common assessment link below the grid. Select the Add common assessment link. The Common Assessment template opens. If the page is blank or shows a common assessment page other than the one you want to use, do the following: Click the Common assessments field. The Get Assessment Page picklist opens. Find the assessment page you need in the list. Select the page and click OK. The template shows the diagnoses and codes for the selected page. Select on all assessments that you want to add to today’s encounter. Assessments display in the grid. Select Save & Close . Assessments you select appear in the Billing Diagnosis History grid. For each assessment that you want to add to Today’s Assessment s, select it and then Click Add/Update. The assessment enters the Today’s Assessments grid on the Add or Update Assessment template. Select Save & Close . All assessments in the Today

Add Historical Assessments from the Billing Diagnosis History Grid

If the assessment that you want to add is in the Billing Diagnosis History grid, select it. Select Add/Update. The assessment enters the Today’s Assessments grid on the Add or Update Assessment template. Select Save & Close to add the assessments to the Today’s Assessments grid on the MICS Med/Admin OPH template. If the assessments that you want to add are not in the Billing Diagnosis History grid, you can add them from the Add common assessment or the Diagnosis Code Lookup link below the grid. Access the Add or Update Assessment Template

Select the Add/Update button below the Today’s Assessment grid on the MICS MedAdmin OPH template. The Add or Update Assessment template opens. Diagnoses already attached to treatments for this patient appear in the Billing Diagnosis History grid in the upper left. Note: The Add or Update Assessment template is part of a template set, the templates of which are indicated and accessed by the tabs along the top of the window. Add a New Assessment Using the Diagnosis Search

You can search for an assessment using the diagnosis search window. Click the Diagnosis Lookup link. The diagnosis search window opens. diagnosis lookup link Enter the first few letters of the desired assessment in the Search field. Click Search. The results grid refreshes to display a list of assessments that include the searched for item. Highlight a row in the results grid. Click Select. The selected assessment appears in the Today's Assessments grid. Add a Diagnosis Code for Diagnosis

Select OK on the alert message. Select the procedure billing details in the grid. The data appears in the corresponding fields above the grid. Do one of the following: Select the Dx Description 1 and select the diagnosis code from the list. Select Cancel on the list. The diagnosis search window opens. Search and select the required diagnosis.The selected diagnosis and the associated code appear in the Dx Description 1 and Code fields respectively. If applicable, repeat the above steps for Dx Description 2 through Dx Description 4 to add additional diagnosis. Note: The diagnosis selected in the Dx Description fields uploads in the Today's Assessments grid on the Add or Update Assessment template. Select Update.If you add additional data in the grid, the Verify Charges button appears in the Procedure Billing panel. Note: If the value is not associated with a procedure code, then the system uploads the default procedure billing code available for each procedure in the Procedure Documentat
