Add New Assessments Using the Diagnosis Code Lookup Link

If the assessments that you want to add are not in the Billing Diagnosis History grid, you can add them from the Diagnosis Code Lookup link below the grid.
  1. Select the Diagnosis Code Lookup link.
    The diagnosis search window opens.
  2. Do one or both of the following, as needed.
    • Enter any string of characters that may be in the clinical description for the diagnosis, and click Search.
    • Scroll to find the diagnosis in the right-hand list.
  3. Highlight the diagnosis.
  4. Select Select.
  5. The Diagnosis search window closes and the diagnosis you selected appears in the Billing Diagnosis History grid.
  6. Select Add/Update to add the diagnosis to Today’s Assessments.
  7. When all assessments are in the Today’s Assessments grid, click Save & Close.
    All assessments in the Today’s Assessments grid on the Add or Update Assessment template are entered into the Today’s Assessments grid on the MICS Med/Admin OPH template.
