Remove an Assessment from Today's Assessments

Reorder Assessments

Assessments can be sorted into a preferred order using the Reorder Assessments template. Click the Sort button to open the Reorder Assessments template. reorder assessments template Start with the assessment that you want to be displayed in the list first. Click the assessments in the Existing Sort Order grid in the order you want them to appear in the New Sort Order grid one at a time. Update an Assessment in Today's Assessment Update an Assessment in Today's Assessment You can update the patient's assessments in the Today's Assessments grid. You can also add an assessment to the patient's clinical problems list as a chronic condition or add it to the provider's list of tracked problems and My Favorites so that it can easily be found and selected for other patients. Highlight the row with the assessment in the Today's Assessments grid. The fields in the Impression section fill with the selected assessment details. Click the Side field and select the affected side from the pick list. The selected value appears in the Today's Assessments grid and the Impression section. Enter a Status. To add the assessment to another grid, select one of the following for Add to: Clinical Problems includes both chronic conditions and tracked problems. Add New Assessments Using the Diagnosis Code Lookup Link

If the assessments that you want to add are not in the Billing Diagnosis History grid, you can add them from the Diagnosis Code Lookup link below the grid. Select the Diagnosis Code Lookup link. The diagnosis search window opens. Do one or both of the following, as needed. Enter any string of characters that may be in the clinical description for the diagnosis, and click Search. Scroll to find the diagnosis in the right-hand list. Highlight the diagnosis. Select Select. The Diagnosis search window closes and the diagnosis you selected appears in the Billing Diagnosis History grid. Select Add/Update to add the diagnosis to Today’s Assessments. When all assessments are in the Today’s Assessments grid, click Save & Close. All assessments in the Today’s Assessments grid on the Add or Update Assessment template are entered into the Today’s Assessments grid on the MICS Med/Admin OPH template. Sort Assessment Order

For billing or documentation purposes, it may be necessary to modify the order in which the assessments are displayed on your documentation. From the Assessment/Diagnosis panel, select Sort. The Reorder Assessments window opens. Reorder Assessments window From the Existing Sort Order grid, select the assessment to display first in the list. The assessment displays as #1 in the New Sort Order grid. From the Existing Sort Order grid, select the assessment to display next in the list. The assessment displays as #2 in the New Sort Order grid. Repeat step 3 until all assessments on the encounter display correctly in the list. Reorder Assessments window To move the remaining assessments without changing the order to the New Sort Order grid, select Move Remaining. Update the Assessment Details in Today's Assessments grid

If you want to update the assessment details in the Today's Assessments grid, Highlight an assessment in the Today's Assessments grid. Select or enter appropriate value in the Status, Side, Site, Impression, Differential Dx fields. Select Update. If the diagnosis is chronic, select the Mark diagnosis as chronic checkbox. If you want to add the selected assessment to the problem list, tracked problems, and/or favorite list, select the Clinical problems, My tracked problems, and/or My favorites checkbox respectively. Note: You can select the other tabs such as My Plan, A/P Details, and so on to document treatment plan, prescribe medications, order labs or X- rays, and request referrals.
