Bulk Enrollment Invitation

When a practice upgrades to NextGen® Enterprise 8 from NextGen® Enterprise 5.9.2020.1 or below versions, the enrollment status of all the patients changes to Not Enrolled. Note: To avail this feature, the practice must be using NextGen® Enterprise Patient Portal prior to 6.2021.1. The bulk enrollment invitation can be sent for one enrollment status at a time. You can request the NextGen Implementation Team to send bulk enrollment invitation to all the patients in the practice. You can also filter the patients based on age, enrollment date and appointment dates to send the enrollment invitations. Only the patients whose mandatory demographic information is available, receive the enrollment invitation. When a patient receives the enrollment invitation, their enrollment status changes to Pending. Resend an Enrollment Invitation

If after 24 hours, there is no response to an enrollment invitation and the enrollment status is Pending, you can resend the invitation. Open NextGen® Enterprise PM. On the Patient Information Card, select Pending.A message appears stating that the patient has not responded to the enrollment invitation. Note: If the patient information is deleted from any of the mandatory fields for enrollment, a message appears listing the fields that must be updated. Select Resend Invitation. Note: If the administrator has set the invitation expiry period to more than 24 hours, the patient does not receive the enrollment invitation email. Enrollment Methods

You can enroll a patient using one of the following methods: Invitation Based Enrollment You can send enrollment invitations to a patients through emails. The patient can open the invitation link provided in the email and complete the enrollment in NextGen® PxP Portal. A notification message for the enrollment invitation email is sent to the patient as a text message if they have provided a valid mobile number. The URL sent to each patient or person is unique and must not be shared with others. If a patient has not enrolled in NextGen® PxP Portal, you can send enrollment invitation to the patient through email from NextGen® Enterprise EHR. The enrollment invitation is sent automatically when you provide certain mandatory information for a patient. Inviting Patients for Enrollment

An enrollment invitation email is automatically sent after the mandatory demographic information is available on the system. If the patient is not enrolled and all of the mandatory demographics are available, an enrollment invitation is automatically triggered after an appointment is booked for the patient from the Add Appointment window. Important: The NextGen® PxP Portal related functions are disabled in NextGen® Enterprise EHR and NextGen® Enterprise PM when your portal licence expires. You can renew your license from the License Manager to activate any disabled functions. You also have the option to manually send enrollment invitations. You can send enrollment invitations to: Patients who have patient charts in your practice in NextGen® Enterprise EHR People with no encounters or patient charts; such as, a healthcare provider acting on behalf of a patient or a parent acting on behalf of a child.
