Resend an Enrollment Invitation

If after 24 hours, there is no response to an enrollment invitation and the enrollment status is Pending, you can resend the invitation. Open NextGen® Enterprise EHR . On the Patient Information Card, select Pending.A message appears stating that the patient has not responded to the enrollment invitation. Note: If the patient information is deleted from any of the mandatory fields for enrollment, a message appears listing the fields that must be updated. Select Resend Invitation. Note: If the administrator has set the invitation expiry period to more than 24 hours, the patient does not receive the enrollment invitation email. Send Enrollment Invitation for Declined or Deferred Patients

Do one of the following actions: On the Patient Information Bar, select Declined or Deferred . On the NextGen® Enterprise EHR Inbox > Clinical Tasking tab, select Declined or Deferred . On the NextGen® Enterprise EHR Inbox > Provider Approval Queue tab, select Declined or Deferred . On the NextGen® Enterprise EHR Inbox > Patient Portal tab, select Declined or Deferred . On the NextGen® Enterprise EHR Inbox > Appointments tab, select Declined or Deferred . From the File menu, select Patient Portal > Enrollment - Deferred. On the Patient Lookup window, select , and then select Patient Portal > Enrollment - Deferred. On the Patient Lookup window, right-click the patient name, and select Patient Portal > Enrollment - Deferred. A message appears confirming if you want to remove the patient response and send an enrollment invitation email. Select Enroll Now. Enrollment Methods

You can enroll a patient using one of the following methods: Invitation Based Enrollment You can send enrollment invitations to a patients through emails. The patient can open the invitation link provided in the email and complete the enrollment in NextGen® PxP Portal. A notification message for the enrollment invitation email is sent to the patient as a text message if they have provided a valid mobile number. The URL sent to each patient or person is unique and must not be shared with others. Bulk Enrollment Invitation You can contact the NextGen Implementation Team to send invitations to all patients in your practice for enrolling in NextGen® PxP Portal. Note: To enable sending notification for the enrollment invitation email as text message to patients with valid mobile number, you must select Enroll w/ SMS in the Patient Activation page in Site Generator. Send Enrollment Invitation

You can manually send an enrollment invitation through email. A notification for the enrollment email is sent to the patient as a text message if you have enabled this functionality and the patient has provided a valid mobile number. The URL for each recipient is unique and must not be shared with others. Open NextGen® Enterprise EHR. If a patient has not enrolled in NextGen® PxP Portal, you can send enrollment invitation to the patient through email from NextGen® Enterprise EHR. Inviting Patients for Enrollment

An enrollment invitation email is automatically sent after the mandatory demographic information is available on the Add Patient Information or Modify Patient Information windows. You also have the option to manually send enrollment invitations. You can send enrollment invitations to: Patients who have patient charts in your practice in NextGen® Enterprise EHR People with no encounters or patient charts; such as, a healthcare provider acting on behalf of a patient or a parent acting on behalf of a child. After the invitation is sent, the patient's enrollment status changes to Pending. Audit events appear in the Audit Report Tool when the patient receives the enrollment invitation email or a patient response is removed. Note: The Temporarily Unavailable icon indicates that the API service is currently not available. You are able to view the current enrollment status after the service is restored.
