Send Enrollment Invitation

You can manually send an enrollment invitation through email. A notification for the enrollment email is sent to the patient as a text message if you have enabled this functionality and the patient has provided a valid mobile number. The URL for each recipient is unique and must not be shared with others. Open NextGen® Enterprise EHR. Do one of the following: On the Patient Information Card, select Not Enrolled or the Enroll Now link. On the NextGen® Enterprise EHR Inbox > Clinical Tasking tab, select Not Enrolled or the Enroll Now link. On the NextGen® Enterprise EHR Inbox > Provider Approval Queue tab, Not Enrolled or the Enroll Now link. On the NextGen® Enterprise EHR Inbox > Patient Portal tab, Not Enrolled or the Enroll Now link. On the NextGen® Enterprise EHR Inbox > Appointments tab, Not Enrolled or the Enroll Now link. Send Enrollment Invitation for Declined or Deferred Patients

Do one of the following actions: On the Patient Information Bar, select Declined or Deferred . On the NextGen® Enterprise EHR Inbox > Clinical Tasking tab, select Declined or Deferred . On the NextGen® Enterprise EHR Inbox > Provider Approval Queue tab, select Declined or Deferred . On the NextGen® Enterprise EHR Inbox > Patient Portal tab, select Declined or Deferred . On the NextGen® Enterprise EHR Inbox > Appointments tab, select Declined or Deferred . From the File menu, select Patient Portal > Enrollment - Deferred. On the Patient Lookup window, select , and then select Patient Portal > Enrollment - Deferred. On the Patient Lookup window, right-click the patient name, and select Patient Portal > Enrollment - Deferred. A message appears confirming if you want to remove the patient response and send an enrollment invitation email. Select Enroll Now. Invitation Based Enrollment

If a patient has not enrolled in NextGen® PxP Portal, you can send enrollment invitation to the patient through email from NextGen® Enterprise EHR. The enrollment invitation is sent automatically when you provide certain mandatory information for a patient. A notification message for the enrollment invitation email is sent to the patient as a text message if they have provided a valid mobile number. Note: To enable sending notification for the enrollment invitation email as text message to patients with valid mobile number, you must select Enroll w/ SMS in the Patient Activation page in Site Generator. Bulk Enrollment Invitation

When a practice upgrades to NextGen® Enterprise 8 from NextGen® Enterprise 5.9.2020.1 or below versions, the enrollment status of all the patients changes to Not Enrolled. Note: To avail this feature, the practice must be using NextGen® Enterprise Patient Portal prior to 6.2021.1. The bulk enrollment invitation can be sent for one enrollment status at a time. You can request the NextGen Implementation Team to send bulk enrollment invitation to all the patients in the practice. You can also filter the patients based on age, enrollment date and appointment dates to send the enrollment invitations. Only the patients whose mandatory demographic information is available, receive the enrollment invitation. When a patient receives the enrollment invitation, their enrollment status changes to Pending. A patient whose mandatory demographic information is not available, does not receive the enrollment invitation, and their enrollment status remains as Not Enrolled. You can update the required de

On the Patient Lookup window, right-click the patient name, and select Patient Portal > Enroll Now. A confirmation window opens. Select Enroll Now. If you have not entered any value in any of the mandatory fields for enrollment, a message appears listing the fields that have missing patient information. Missing fields display on the Patient Portal Enrollment window The patient enrollment status changes to Pending in the system. Resend an Enrollment Invitation

If after 24 hours, there is no response to an enrollment invitation and the enrollment status is Pending, you can resend the invitation. Open NextGen® Enterprise PM. On the Patient Information Card, select Pending.A message appears stating that the patient has not responded to the enrollment invitation. Note: If the patient information is deleted from any of the mandatory fields for enrollment, a message appears listing the fields that must be updated. Select Resend Invitation. Note: If the administrator has set the invitation expiry period to more than 24 hours, the patient does not receive the enrollment invitation email.
