Send Enrollment Invitation

You can manually send an enrollment invitation through email. A notification for the enrollment email is sent to the patient as a text message if you have enabled this functionality and the patient has provided a valid mobile number. The URL for each recipient is unique and must not be shared with others.
  1. Open NextGen® Enterprise EHR.
  2. Do one of the following:
    • On the Patient Information Card, select Not Enrolled or the Enroll Now link.
    • On the NextGen® Enterprise EHR Inbox > Clinical Tasking tab, select Not Enrolled or the Enroll Now link.
    • On the NextGen® Enterprise EHR Inbox > Provider Approval Queue tab, Not Enrolled or the Enroll Now link.
    • On the NextGen® Enterprise EHR Inbox > Patient Portal tab, Not Enrolled or the Enroll Now link.
    • On the NextGen® Enterprise EHR Inbox > Appointments tab, Not Enrolled or the Enroll Now link.
If you have not entered any value in any of the mandatory fields for enrollment, a message appears listing the fields that have missing patient information.

    • Select Update Now.

The Modify Patient Information window opens.

    • Enter the required information in the mandatory fields, and select OK.
Enrollment invitation is sent as an email to the patient and the patient enrollment status changes to Pending. A notification message for the enrollment invitation email is sent to the patient as a text message if they have provided a valid mobile number.

An audit event is logged in Audit Report Tool when the patient receives the enrollment invitation.
