Invitation Based Enrollment
If a patient has not enrolled in NextGen® PxP Portal, you can send enrollment invitation to the patient through email from NextGen® Enterprise EHR. The enrollment invitation is sent automatically when you provide certain mandatory information for a patient. A notification message for the enrollment invitation email is sent to the patient as a text message if they have provided a valid mobile number. Note: To enable sending notification for the enrollment invitation email as text message to patients with valid mobile number, you must select Enroll w/ SMS in the Patient Activation page in Site Generator. Adding Person or Patient Details
To add a patient, you must first enter data for all mandatory fields of the complete the required fields on each tab of the Add Patient Information or Add Person Information window, and then for other fields required by your practice. A system administrator can configure the mandatory fields in Enterprise Preferences and Practice Preferences in File Maintenance. Enroll a Patient in NextGen® PxP Portal
Before you begin Ensure that the patient portal must setup in File Maintenance and has a valid NextGen® PxP Portal license for your practice. If the patient is not enrolled in NextGen® PxP Portal, you can send an enrollment invitation email through NextGen® Enterprise EHR. For more information on NextGen® PxP Portal, go to NextGen Healthcare Success Community and download the latest NextGen®PxP Portal Provider Guide forNextGen®Enterprise EHR. Open NextGen® Enterprise EHR, and select a patient from Patient Lookup window. To invite the patient for NextGen® PxP Portal enrollment, do one of the following: On the Patient Information Card (PIC), select Enroll Now next to the Not enrolled in Patient Portal indicator.
