After you create charges and bill encounters, you can generate billing statements in
NextGen® Enterprise PM as needed (on demand) or in a batch.
NextGen® Enterprise PM generates billing statements as PDF statements and temporarily stores them in the shared network path configured in the System Administrator. For patients enrolled in
NextGen® PxP Portal, the system transfers the statements to their
NextGen® PxP Portal accounts. When patients log on to
NextGen® PxP Portal, they can view the statements and make payments.
Important: You must configure the shared network path in Universal Preferences of System Administrator to have the generated statements appear on the Statements tab of NextGen® PxP Portal.

NextGen Healthcare recommends that you remove the
Prefix practice id onto account number option in the
Practice Preferences for
Statements.
