You can view the agents relevant to the payment solution under Payments in the Solutions tab on PxP Portal Integration Tool. You can search for the agents on the Agent Configuration tab to view the agent configuration. These agents must be running for the NextGen® Pay and Statement solutions to integrate with NextGen® Enterprise PM.
Agent Name | Description |

Balance Updates | Obtains the updated account balance from NextGen® Enterprise PM and sends it to NextGen® PxP Portal for enrolled patients.

Secure Payments | Obtains the secure payments made by patients and add payment transaction details to the corresponding account in NextGen® Enterprise PM. |
Other Payments | Obtains the payments initiated from all NextGen® PxP Portal applications, including NextGen® Enterprise Patient Portal, PayNow, NextGen® Patient Engage, and NextGen Virtual Visits™, and adds transactions to the corresponding account in NextGen® Office PM. |
Statement Preference | Obtains the statement preference selected by patients in NextGen® PxP Portal and sends it to NextGen® Enterprise PM. |
Statements | Obtains account-level information from NextGen® Enterprise PM and sends it to NextGen® PxP Portal. |
Unapplied Encounter Payment Reconciliation | Automatically reconciles pending copay amounts to the encounter associated to the appointment it was paid, based on appointment ID after the encounter is created and batches it to NextGen® Enterprise PM as unapplied encounter credits. |
