Preregistration Workflow

You can only initiate the preregistration workflow to document the details of the patient before their visit to the office.

The preregistration workflow is to be performed before a patient visit the office. For example, a phone nurse contacts the patient to perform preregistration before the appointment. You can open the preregistration workflow templates using the Pre Reg link on the Home template. The following table describes the templates used in this workflow.

TemplateDescription
Pre RegTo document the chief complaints, appointment details, patient demographics, and insurance details. You can also generate letters for preregistration of patients.
Clinical ApprovalTo document the clinical approval requirements.
Billing ApprovalTo document the billing approval requirements.
Clinical 1To document the details of providers, shared care facilities, and patient histories.
Clinical 2To document patient's family history, social history, and review of systems.
Pre-Reg WorklogTo track the preregistration details. You can open the patient's chart directly from this worklog.

You can set up alerts for the following preregistration templates based on the chief complaint and financial class configured in the Alerts panel on the Billing Configuration practice template.
