Setup a Default Assessment Page

You can setup a default assessment page for a practice or a provider. On the Specialty Common Assess Config practice template, expand the Manage Common Assessment Pages and Links panel. In the Common Assessment Pages grid, select the desired assessment page. In the field below the Rendering column of the Common Assessment Pages grid, select a practice or provider. Copy an Assessment Page

You can copy an assessment page to another practice or provider. On the Specialty Common Assess Config practice template, expand the Manage Common Assessment Pages and Links panel. In the Common Assessment Pages grid, select the desired assessment page. For Copy to, select Current Practice or Another Practice. If you select Another Practice, you must click in the field to select that practice. To copy to only a specific provider in the practice, select the provider in the Copy to Provider field. Add Items to a Common Assessment Page

On the Specialty Common Assess Config practice template, expand the Manage Common Assessments panel. In the Common assessment page name field, select the desired assessment page. Click the Item # field and select one of the 124 spots for the placement of the item. In the Item to add field, select one of the below item types. Header/Group Subgroup Description and code Spacer Depends on your selection above, follow the below instructions: Header/Group: Enter the Header/Group name, and in the Diagnosis Group field, select a diagnosis group. Subgroup: Enter the subgroup name, and in the Diagnosis Group field, select a diagnosis group. Remove Items from an Assessment Page

You can remove items from an assessment page. When you do, you have option to leave a blank line, or to close up the space created by moving the lower lines up. On the Specialty Common Assess Config practice template, expand the Manage Common Assessments panel. In the Common assessment page name field, select the desired assessment page. Select the item to remove. Click Remove. A window opens with an option to move the rows up after removing the item. Remove option in the Manage Common Assessments panel Do one of the following: Select the Move rows up after remove check box, and click OK. Common Assessment Configuration

You can use the Specialty Common Assess Config practice template to build assessment pages with diagnosis groups on the Assessment Configuration template. These pages are accessed throughout the NextGen® Orthopedic Suite templates to add diagnoses to the patient’s history grids. You can set default pages based on rendering provider or practice, and copy assessment pages to another practice or provider. The Common Assess Config template has two panels: Manage Common Assessment Pages and Links Manage Common Assessments . Managing Items of an Assessment Page

You can add, update, and remove various items in an assessment page. You can use the Manage Common Assessments panel of the Specialty Common Assessment Config practice template to build an assessment page using a combination of different types of items. You can add up to 124 items to an assessment page. The items configured for an assessment page appear in the Inf Common Assessment template for adding diagnoses to a patient’s history.
