Insert an Item Between Existing Items

You can add an item between two existing items. On the Specialty Common Assess Config practice template, expand the Manage Common Assessments panel. Select the line item number at which you want to insert the new item. Click Insert Blank Row. This adds a blank space at selected item number. Click the blank line item. The line item number appears in the Item # field. In the Item to add field, select one of the below item type. Header/Group Subgroup Description and code Spacer Depends on your selection above, follow the below instructions: Header/Group: Enter the Header/Group name, and in the Diagnosis Group field, select a diagnosis group. Subgroup: Enter the subgroup name, and in the Diagnosis Group field, select a diagnosis group. Common Assessment Page Elements

You can add up to 124 fields on an assessment page, using a combination of the following elements: Headers/Groups – These elements appear in BOLD on the assessment pages. You can associate Diagnosis groups with Headers and Groups. Note: If a diagnosis group is associated with the header/group, there is a plus sign in front of the element. Sub-groups – (diagnosis groups created on the Assessment Configuration template): These elements appear with a plus sign in front of the name below the Headers/Groups. Spacers – A spacer puts a separation between line items on the assessment page. Description and code – (individual code look-up) –Description and code appear on the page with the code description and the diagnosis code after it. You can manage items on the Common Assessment pages from the Manage Common Assessments panel of the Specialty Common Assess Config practice template. Item Types for Assessment Pages

You can use different types of items to configure assessment pages. You can configure items required for an assessment page using the assessment item section of the Manage Common Assessments panel on the Specialty Common Assessment Config template. When you enter an assessment page in the *Common assessment page name field, the items configured for that page appear in the assessment item section. You can add, update, or delete items from the selected page as needed. If you select an item number, the number is filled in the Item # field. You need to select the item type to be added, enter the details of the item, and add the item to the assessment page. The types of items are as follows: Header/Group. Headers and header groups appear in bold on the assessment pages. If the header text is prefixed with a plus sign, it indicates that the item is a header group and there are multiple codes in that group. Add Headers and Sub-Groups to an Assessment Page

You can add sub-groups and headers with or without groups to an assessment page. On the Specialty Common Assessment Config template, expand the Manage Common Assessments panel. Select the page to be updated from the *Common assessment page name field. The name of the selected page appears in the *Common assessment page name field, and the items available in the selected page appear in the assessment item section. Select the item number, where you want to add the item. The selected item number is filled in the Item # field. Select Header/Group or Subgroup from the Item to add field. The results are as follows: If you select Header/Group, the Header/Group name and Link to diagnosis group fields appear. If you select Subgroup, the Subgroup name and Link to diagnosis group fields appear.
