Setup a Default Assessment Page

You can setup a default assessment page for a practice or a provider. On the Specialty Common Assess Config practice template, expand the Manage Common Assessment Pages and Links panel. In the Common Assessment Pages grid, select the desired assessment page. In the field below the Rendering column of the Common Assessment Pages grid, select a practice or provider. Create a New Assessment Page

You can create a new assessment page. On the Specialty Common Assess Config practice template, expand the Manage Common Assessment Pages and Links panel. Add/Update button in the Manage Common Assessment Pages and Links panel In the field below the Common Assessment Page column of the grid, enter a name for new assessment page. Select a Category (Ortho Dx or PMH). This category determines where the page is viewable from when launched on the NextGen® Orthopedic Suite templates. Select age and gender. To set the assessment page as default to a practice or provider, select a practice or provider in the Rendering field. Select an option: ICD-10 or ICD-9. Select the Active check box. Manage items on Common Assessment Pages

You can manage items on the Common Assessment pages from the Manage Common Assessments panel of the Specialty Common Assess Config practice template. You can add headers, diagnoses, and diagnosis groups to build assessment pages. Copy Assessment Pages

You can copy an assessment page to another practice or provider. On the Specialty Common Assessment Config template, expand the Manage Common Assessment Pages and Links panel. Note: By default, the active assessment pages are displayed in the grid. Select the assessment page to be copied from the grid. The details of the selected page are filled in the corresponding fields. To create a copy of the assessment page for the current practice, do the following: Select the Current Practice option for Copy to. The name of the current practice is filled in the corresponding field. Select Copy. A copy of the assessment page is created and added to the grid. To copy the assessment page to a specific provider in the current practice, do the following: Select the Current Practice option for Copy to. The name of the current practice is filled in the corresponding field. Select the provider's name from the Copy to Provider field. Select Copy. Copy an Existing Common Assessment Page to Another Practice

On the Common Assessments practice template, expand the Manage Common Assessment Page and Links panel. Highlight a row to be copied from the Common Assessment Pages grid. Click the Copy button. The Info Copy Assessment window opens. Click OK to duplicate the common assessment page. The applicable information displays in the Common assessment page name, Template link name, Specialty, Age, and Gender fields. Enter a unique page name in the Common assessment page name field. Edit the other field values. Click an option in the Copy to field. If you select the Another Practice option, enter the practice in the associated field. When copying to another practice, the entry will not appear in the current practice but is available in the other practice's grid. Click the Add/Update button to upload the data to the grid. Common Assessment Configuration

You can use the Specialty Common Assess Config practice template to build assessment pages with diagnosis groups on the Assessment Configuration template. These pages are accessed throughout the NextGen® Orthopedic Suite templates to add diagnoses to the patient’s history grids. You can set default pages based on rendering provider or practice, and copy assessment pages to another practice or provider. The Common Assess Config template has two panels: Manage Common Assessment Pages and Links Manage Common Assessments . Common Assess Config template Note: Make sure to select IORTS in the Product field for any assessment configuration related to NextGen® Orthopedic Suite.
