Setup a Default Assessment Page

You can setup a default assessment page for a practice or a provider. On the Specialty Common Assess Config practice template, expand the Manage Common Assessment Pages and Links panel. In the Common Assessment Pages grid, select the desired assessment page. In the field below the Rendering column of the Common Assessment Pages grid, select a practice or provider. Copy an Assessment Page

You can copy an assessment page to another practice or provider. On the Specialty Common Assess Config practice template, expand the Manage Common Assessment Pages and Links panel. In the Common Assessment Pages grid, select the desired assessment page. For Copy to, select Current Practice or Another Practice. If you select Another Practice, you must click in the field to select that practice. To copy to only a specific provider in the practice, select the provider in the Copy to Provider field. Manage items on Common Assessment Pages

You can manage items on the Common Assessment pages from the Manage Common Assessments panel of the Specialty Common Assess Config practice template. You can add headers, diagnoses, and diagnosis groups to build assessment pages. Common Assessment Configuration

You can use the Specialty Common Assess Config practice template to build assessment pages with diagnosis groups on the Assessment Configuration template. These pages are accessed throughout the NextGen® Orthopedic Suite templates to add diagnoses to the patient’s history grids. You can set default pages based on rendering provider or practice, and copy assessment pages to another practice or provider. The Common Assess Config template has two panels: Manage Common Assessment Pages and Links Manage Common Assessments . Configuring Assessment Pages

You can create and maintain assessment pages for adding diagnoses to a patient’s history. You can use the Specialty Common Assessment Config practice template to build assessment pages using diagnosis groups configured on the Specialty Diagnosis Group Config practice template. The assessment pages are accessed throughout the medical record templates for adding diagnoses to the patient’s diagnosis history grids. Specialty Common Assessment Config The Specialty Common Assessment Config template has the following panels: Manage Common Assessment Pages and Links. You can create, update, or copy assessment pages and set default pages for rendering providers and practice. Manage Common Assessments. You can configure diagnosis codes and other items for the assessment pages available in the Manage Common Assessment Pages and Links panel. Add a New Common Assessment Page

On the Common Assessments practice template, expand the Manage Common Assessment Page and Links panel. Do one of the following: Enter a new name that is not added to the list in the Common assessment page name field. Click the Common assessment page name field to select an existing common assessment. Click the Template Link name field and select an option from the list. This list indicates what the user sees in the patient's chart but not necessarily what template launches. Click the Specialty field and select an option from the list. You can select the All option or any of the individual specialty. Click the Age field and select an option from the list. You can select All, Adult, or Pediatrics. Click the Gender field and select an option from the list. You can select All, Male, or Female options.
