Diagnosis/Procedure Information Panel

Procedures and diagnoses pull to the grids in the Diagnosis/Procedure Information panel from the Surgery Sched template. You can add additional procedures and diagnoses to the grids. Procedures and diagnoses entered from the Surgery Sched template cannot be removed, but do not have to be billed for, if not performed.

Additional features in this panel include the following:

  • Do not send to Histories– enables you to submit charges for the procedure(s) without sending the procedure(s) to the Orthopedic Surgical History grid. This would prevent providers from tying this procedure to a post-op visit.
  • Submit to History- if you are awaiting sign off, but you want to enter the procedure in the Orthopedic Surgical History grid, click the Submit to History button. This sends the procedure to the Orthopedic Surgical History grid, so providers can tie it to a post-op visit prior to charges being submitted. When ready to submit charges, you can return to this template and click Submit to Superbill.
  • Submit to Superbill- sends all procedure(s) information to the Orthopedic Surgical History grid and NextGen® Enterprise PM.
